Pro's and Con's of college vs. work after high school

Let's start at the begining. You have to score well on your SAT test. If you choose the military, you have to score well on the ACT test. I feel queezy thinking that this is the most important part of moving on, because it is not. Making good grades in highschool is the most important part of moving on to  the college of your choice. Extra-curricular activities improve your visibility to colleges all over the country (they can see that you can multi-task successfully).

Pro: Every individual in the world has an oppurtunity after graduating high school; to obtain a higher education. You should make a list of schools you would like to attend.

Con: There is no promise that you can get before you choose what college(s) you want to attend.

College financial aid is a big factor in personal choices of secondary education (college). Financial Aid can limit choices and dreams, but it can also expand your choices in colleges. It is simply your choice in life that will always effect your life. Grants and loans are available to students. There are eligibilty requirements most colleges will ahve a financial aid office you should visit to find out.

Pro: Scholarships are available to all students. You must research what is out there and what you want.

Con: It is more work added to everything else you have to do. Equation is like this your personal interests vs. what is out there. Every state is different.

College offers a continued education from a business, or trade school with an Associate's Degree or Bachelor Degree in 18 monthes to 4 years and even longer for Master and Doctor Degrees. College prepares you for a salary job, or middle class life style. Jobs usually start around $20,000.00 per year and up. There is no salary cap on your life. The only limits out there are the ones you set up.

Pro: You will always be able to gain a job as whatever it is you choose to study: because of your course of study.

Con: The difficulty of each course is different. Each college, trade school, and University. It will take time to graduate and get that degree, and high paying job you want.

Work, well you can start a job with a work - permit at 16 in Pennsylvania (age varies from state to state). The inly hope I have for students that quit school to work full -  time is that they learn to learn a skilled trade from the bottom up. at that rate your boss is the only one who can limit your wage and experience. You will be working instead of spending and will fall behind your generation. Your bank account will have little to show for all the time you spend working, but who am I to judge (the writer)? temporary needs will be met, and distant goals will be distant until you find what works for you.

I would never say to a student take a full - time job ver an education. They say education is the key, because it opens the doors to a more profitable life (meaning you will earn more daily and over a lifetime).

Pro: After high school a part - time job is right for some students who choose to continue their education.

Con: Full - Time workers will loose time and college experience during that time.

There are numerous typographical errors. I've seen 3 fragments without even reading the article, and a spelling error in the first sentence. I assume the rest of the article continues in a similar fashion. Please revise.
