Colon Blow, 7 Day Colon Flush and Other Bowel Cleanse Products

Colon Blow and 7 Day Colon Flush are just two examples of the multitude of bowel cleanse products flooding the market today. Dr. Natura Colonix, Total Colon Cleanse, Dual Action Colon cleanse, Ultimate Colon Cleanse, Power Cleanse, Super Colon Cleanse - even their names suggest they mean business: that will perform internal cleansing, detox your colon, release toxins from your body, remove parasites from your intestines and as a result they will prevent many potentially deadly diseases, give you more energy, and even help you shed some unwanted pounds.

What Are th Benefits of Bowel Cleanse Products

Most of the internal cleansing products and detox supplements are touted to have so many benefits for your health, that it really hard to resist the temptation to buy them. It would be difficult to list all of them in one short article. For example, they:

  • help release toxins from your colon and internal organs
  • unclog your intestines
  • kill parasites that may live in your intestines
  • improve digestion and assimilation of nutrients
  • eliminate gas and bloating
  • stimulate metabolism, increase energy
  • improve hair, skin and nails
  • protect you from dangerous ailments - including colon cancer
  • alleviate irritable bowel syndrome and - last but not least -
  • help you lose weight.

Wow! I have to say that all these promises sound pretty amazing. No wonder many people are buying these products. I myself decided that the benefits are worth giving it a try and decided perform an intestinal cleanse a while back. I'm not going to say which product I purchased, because I believe that they probably are very similar to one another. So are all the claims that these product make just a hype? In other words - should you be giving any of these products a try?

Colon Cleansing Diet Recommendations

In my opinion it really comes down to this:

Why are you doing the colon cleanse?

--Do you have any negative symptoms or perhaps a serious health condition, that you hope will go away after the cleanse, so you can be living your life as if nothing happened?

--Or perhaps the cleanse is a part of a bigger project - whereby you are working to improve your diet - so that your body is no longer overwhelmed with toxins and can take care of the cleansing for you in the future?

In my humble opinion, if buying and taking Colon Blow or Dr. Natura Colonix Colon Cleanse is a part of improving your health - but you are not willing to do any permanent changes in your life - then these products may give you short-term benefits, but they are only fixing the symptoms - without giving you a permanent solution.

And if you are already eating a health diet (see the description below - these days "healthy diet" means different things to different people) it's best to skip those detox products altogether and instead spend your hard earned money on healthy foods such as organic fruits and vegetables.

Colon Cleanse Diet Recommendations

Ideally, you should also be working on improving your diet to include as much as 60-80 percent of RAW plant foods - fruits and vegetables - which are truly the best sources of natural fiber AND sources of greatest nutrition produced for humans by nature itself - so you don't need to worry about their content or safety or long term effects on your health. The other 40-20% should be cooked vegetables, legumes and whole grains. Animal products, such as meats and diary, should be limited or eliminated completely.

I highly recommend that you read books by Joel Fuhrman "Fasting and Eating For Health", "Eating for Health" or Dr. D. Graham "80/10/10 diet" and Victoria Boutenko's "Green For Life." If you apply the knowledge you find there - I guarantee you will never need to spend money on another colon cleansing product again!

If you insist on doing the cleanse - read "Dr. Bernard Jensen's Guide to Better Bowel Care" - he is the "poo guru" of all time.

But that's just my advice. Of course - the choice is yours.
