Comfort and style when pregnant

When you are pregnant, it can be hard on your self esteem. Your body starts changing, nothing fits you right, you feel bloated, fat, awkward, and more. So, style and fashionable clothing are an important part of being pregnant. If you feel like you look nice in what you are wearing, and you wear stylish clothes, you will feel a whole lot better about yourself. However, because pregnancy requires so many changes, comfort should be foremost on your mind. This does not mean always go out in your husband's oversized tees. It does mean do not give up comfort for fashion, you can have both.
You can look good and feel good, too.
The following are some comfort tips that will not get in the way of being stylish when pregnant:
Tip one: Wear a bikini brief under wear and low-rise pants. You do not need maternity underwear, just choose underwear that sits below your belly. It is more comfortable, and it does not slide around as much. You can also wear low rise pants so that you do not have an uncomfortable waist band on your belly.
Tip two: Wear a supportive bra. The fact is most women's breasts get larger when they are pregnant, and with their belly getting larger, and their stomach muscles stretching out, your back can really take it hard. So, go get a new bra, and get refitted for it sot that it fits right.
Tip three: The next comfort tip is to simply dress in layers, so you can strip. When you are pregnant, your hormones are all over the place, and you circulate a lot more blood. Many women find the result being that they are very hot a lot of the time. So wear something light under something heavier so that you can shed layers if you get too hot, or put more on if you get cold.
Tip four: Do not wear dry-clean only. It is a fact that when you get a belly you tend to spill on yourself, so wear things that are easy to clean. Also, you will want soft, easy-care fabrics because of the fact that you do not need to deal with uncomfortable mystery fabrics. Just wear breathable clothing you can wash at home, and that does not need ironing. And the fashion tip, buy quality. You wear and wash maternity clothes much more than your other wardrobe, so buy stuff that will last you.
Tip five: Choose some basic pieces and have fun with accessories. If you want to look good and feel good, choose items that can be mixed and matched so you do not feel like you are wearing the exact same outfit all of the time. Also, choose colors that look good on you and coordinate well with each other. Then use fun jewelry, hand bags, etc. to spice up your look.
Tip six: Be shoe smart. You have extra weight, and many pregnant women's feet swell. So buy some low heeled shoes, and you may need to get them half a size bigger then your normal size. Buy a couple pairs of cute, fun flats that fit your feet well.
Tip seven: Shop online. Often times you can find better size guides, and better variety when you buy clothes online. Also, you can save your feet from the pain of walking around all day.
