Suborbital Space Flights

What is it. It is basically a commercial space shuttle the size of a jet plane that takes off like a regular airplane but instead of a steady incline and flying across at an altitude of about 33,000ft. (give or take a few thousand feet), they will take off as regular planes do, reach an altitude of about 40,000ft. turbo boost it; the same as space shuttles do, to about a 65 mile altitude, hang out in zero gravity for a few minutes or so and come back down, landing like an airplane does today.

That, my friend, is friggin' amazing. No doubt it cost a lot of money to make it happen but first we need, Spaceports. Whaaaaaa!!!! Yes, they plan to convert some airports into spaceports. Can you imagine? I wasn't born yet for the unveiling of an airport but when the first International Space Station in Florida opened up and launched its first space ship into outer space, it must have been an amazing sight.

But those days are behind us now. Gosh the first airplane was an open cockpit with a propeller and two wings. From then it became a real plane, then jumbo jets then jet planes to giant space ships, to space shuttles then super sonic Stealth Bombers and now Suborbital Space Flights!

Phew! Now, I don't know every detail about how these things work but so far I have gathered that their "turbo thrusters" will burn mostly liquid oxygen to lessen the damage to our environment but we shall see how it all pans out.

You can book a Suborbital Space Flight.

Yeah, you can book a suborbital space flight for the future. It only cost about $200,000 at the moment which could change the closer it comes to launch time. With the cost you also get 6 days of space training... of course you have to know what zero gravity is like before you take off.

So Hawaii is next of the list for building a spaceport! Yes, you can fly from Hawaii to Japan in about 45 minutes. On the trip you get to go out into space, see the Earth from orbit and land in Japan. That is faster than a trip from San Diego to Arizona.

Very informative. We are waiting to see how things will happen. Technology is really advancing. People are thinking out of the box.

Yes it absolutely amazing! I can't wait to see what happenes. In about another 50-60 years or so I could only imagine suborbital space flights becoming the norm just like regualr air flight did.

Fascinating. I was in aviation for 14 years. Thanks for the good read.
