Common Cause of Ringing In Ears

Tinnitus is a condition commonly described as a buzzing noise or a ringing

in the ears noise.  It is miserable and can last a long time or be of short

duration, depending on the person and the damage in the inner ear.

The good news is that there are remedies that work for most people!

You just have to find the one that works for you to eliminate this problem

from your life.

Whether the problem is minor or severe, it is most definitely a problem,

a one that once identified, can usually be cured.  The most important

factor is to figure out what causes the damage.

Unfortunately, the most common cause of damage to the inner

ear is caused by loud noises such as car motors, airplane engines,

firework displays, loud CD or ipod players, especially when the ear phones

are inserted into your ears, loud music played in a car, at a restaurant,

club, or concert.  Wherever your ears are bombarded by too much volume,

you are in danger of developing tinnitus or that roar or ringing people

speak about.  Once you have it, you will never question what it is, you

will just want it to stop!

The damage is done to the inner ear where the cochlear is damaged

and nerve endings are damaged as well.  These nerve endings are

vital because they transmit electrical pulses from the cochlea to

the brain, which then turns around and interprets those impulses

as sound.

Tinnitus can also be triggered by stress and anxiety from work or

personal relationships.  Other causes include certain antibiotics (side effects),

sports-related injuries, middle or inner ear infections, and ear surgery.
