Windows Cannot Find Any Network

With the advancement of our technology, all of our computers, gadgets and stuffs also went into in advance. This shows that the earth that were living to are being civilized by human and its starting to have a better and easy way of living. In line with this, computers now a days are intended to have a great functions and instead of connecting cable wires, they can be wireless at the same time. We can do this by plugging in wireless adapters or using laptops which has a built in device to go wireless. Now here are some common issues and their resolutions that might help solve our concerns when using WINDOWS operating system.

Windows Cannot Find Any Network

This issue has been the outrage of some people especially for laptops owners. They would complain that my computer is damaged or my wireless routers has problems and would start calling their manufacturers to repair this concern. Then here comes this agent support exhausting all the trouble shooting steps when in fact they probably dont know what they are doing as well. This is sometimes cause when wireless switches are turned off or when there Wireless Network is deactivated. So before we call our computer manufacturer, you might want to do this first:

1. Check the wireless switch on the your computer or laptop

This switches can be found at the sides, back, front panels or even on keyboard buttons. This can be activated by either turning the switch on. You should see a LED light turning on depending on the brand of your computer. Or if you are using function keys which can be found on the keyboard buttons such as DEL computers, an indicator that your wireless switch has been turn will appear on your screen.

2. Check the Wireless Network Connection if its activated.

You can do this step by clicking on CONTROL PANEL which you can find on your START MENU. Then on the upper left, try to see if you can find a CLASSICAL or CATEGORY VIEW. If its on CATEGORY VIEW, try clicking on it so that it would go back to CLASSIC VIEW.

 FOR XP USERS

Now after that, double left click on NETWORK CONNECTIONS and you will see LOCAL and WIRELESS Connections Icon and you will see this window.

Just right click on WIRELESS NETWORK CONNECTIONS, and it will give you a menu. Choose ENABLE to enable your wireless network and connections and try to check your wireless network again and by then you should be able to see a wireless network.

FOR VISTA USERS

Above picture is the CONTROL PANEL that you should have on your screen, then click on NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER and you should have this window.

Then click on MANAGE NETWORK CONNECTIONS which is located on the upper left, under TASK. Then you will see two icons again, both for LOCAL and WIRELESS Networks. Right click on WIRELESS Network and click on ENABLE to enable your wireless connections. Then try to scan for wireless signals and you should see a wireless network by then.

By doing this basic steps, this will save your time and effort in calling your computer manufacturers and would make you a techy person at the same time. See you soon on the next wireless issue that I will post to help you out with your wireless connection.
