Now that we have looked at the path to creativity and the origins lets look the components. First of all it all starts with your mentality. All too often as I said before we just let life pass us by. We only see things for thier face value, but once we start seeing through the illusions we see a whole new perspective. Our minds are our own limitations in life. Our minds often revert to stagnation. Another words sometimes we let our leaders think for us. We are essentially self-followers, but we need to be self-leaders. The difference between a leader and a follower is that the leader takes the initiative to make a decision. He thinks for himself. He utilizes his help in order to achieve the goal or complete the project. First of all to be creative you have to be a self leader.

Lets look at some examples. Think about life before the invention of the wheel. Think about how it is used on a daily basis. The tire enabled the car to accelerate.It's constantly traveling on a smooth surface, but look at where that originated. Think about if we had square wheels.We wouldn't travel very far. My piont is that someone utilized thier creativity and it has been since evolved into our way of life. Another example is Charles Nash founder of Nash Motor Company.In 1890 he bagan work in a blacksmith's department pounding iron. After a few days he went to his boss and told him he was wasting his time. He suggested to his boss to replace his job with a power hammer. It could do more pounding in a day than he could do in a month. Nash was moved to work on a drill press. He discovered how to rigg the machine to increase its output. His boss seen this new idea and sent him to fix another department. The trimming department. He solved yet again another problem. The carpenters held tacks in thier mouths while working. The cheap tacks would cut thier lips and they would end up losing them.Nash suggested that they use a better grade of tacks. He went on to other departments correcting issues and advanced his way on up through the company. He eventually became president of the company. Nash became a self -leader. Now he didn't know too much about the business , but he utilized his creativity and focused on solving problems. Essentially he worked the numbers. Remember it's all about the numbers. Multiply the almighty dollar. .

Another key component is production. A key ingredient to operating a successful business is production. What Nash did was utilized Henry Fords assembly line. Every major producer of goods and services uses an assembly line in their operation. You see creativity improves our way of life. Imagine if Henry Ford never invented the assembly line. Think about how many cars, candy bars, air conditioners, grocery products, health products, medicines, and etc would we have at our disposal. These gentleman like many others decided to be thier own leaders and make decisions for themselves and the result was astounding. They were very successful.

It's all about how you think. All our lives we have been taught to go out thier and get an education, find you a good paying job, and work until you retire. I ask you is that what we really want out of life? When we activate our minds and think for ourselves we discover our creativity, solve problems, and increase the numbers to drive production. We become innovators. We become dynamic. We become what we were meant to be.
