Computer art can also be called digital art or even deviant art and if its done using computers almost anything can be classified as art.
The main thing is to have fun with what you do or simply appreciate what others do.
It is compelling and the computer allows a different approach than pencils and brushes.
You use computer art tools to produce the effects and the art appears almost back to front, it's entirely up to you and your manipulative skills and love of colour which allows so much variety.
