Conception Made Easy
50Conception Made Easy
The decision to “start trying” marks the beginning of a new era for a couple.. And, once a couple decides it is the right time, they want to get pregnant right away
But trying to get pregnant is not always easy if the couple does not have proper knowledge of the subject. A number of people are under the impression that unprotected sex they will conceive a baby.
A few will have this luck, but for many, getting pregnant requires knowledge as well as time.
The biggest element of getting pregnant is ovulation in the female when the egg is released it is ready to be fertilized if sperm is also in the uterus the sperm and egg will join for conception
When trying to conceive intercourse should occur during or just before ovulation. Male sperm can live in the female body for up to three days meaning that sex before ovulation can cause pregnancy as will intercourse on the day of ovulation
For a woman with a 28 day cycle, ovulation happens on the 14th day of your cycle
This means two weeks before you next period and two weeks after your last period: right in the middle A number of women do not operate on a 28 day cycle, so day 14 may not mean ovulation or fertility for them at all.
A different measure of ovulation is by keeping track of your body temperature A woman’s temperature will peak around day 11 or 12 of a normal cycle.
Since sperm is active in the uterus for several days a peak in your body temperature means prime days for getting pregnant.
You can also determine when you ovulate with testing strips which can be obtained from a doctor or drugstore. These tests are usually accurate in predicting fertility if you cannot determine ovulation by natural means.
The most beneficial thing to do when trying to get pregnant is care for your body.
Be healthy in your eating, stay fit, get adequate sleep, and do not get too stressed. You need to prepare your body to nourish a child if you want to succeed in conception.
Some will say there are certain foods you can eat or things you can do to increase fertility and if you are having problems these might be necessary However, for most people following these guidelines and being healthy will be enough
