This will not be a long hub. I want to encourage everyone to go to the link at the bottom of this page and watch the video on you tube. Congressman Mike Rogers of Michigan is exactly the type of Congressmen we need standing up for the Amercian people and against the health care reform plan. He assumed office on January 3, 2001. He is originally from Alabama, but represents Michigan's 8th district. During his term he has introduced legislation to make the United States energy independent by 2015. He also is a sponsor of the bill passed by President Bush prohibiting the protest of war near soldiers funeral ceremonies who were killed in action. Rogers also wrote legislation creating the Education Savings Plan, which allows Michigan families to set aside tax free money for educating their children. The list goes on and on, this man is definitely worth doing research on! He has created pain care management for americans who are restricted by severe, chronic pain. He has now added one more thing to his legacy of Congressman! As you will see in this video he is very tactful but to the point and honest. He thoroughly list all of the reasons he is not in favor of this bill. He adequately calls page numbers in the bill that promote unconstitutional aspects of the bill. The dangers this bill will create are ridiculous! Kudos to Congressman Rogers for taking a stand for your family and your voters and their families.  Rogers has definitely not forgotten why he is in office and that is to be the voice of and for the American people. Thank you for looking a head to where this country is headed if we continue on this political path. You have seen the devastation in other countries with government run healthcare systems and you have spoken out! Thank you! It is nice to see a man in government still have a backbone! Maybe there is still hope? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G44NCvNDLfc

Well he is not all over the news because this is what the American people need to see! You know that secular media will not show this! I agree and I think it is awesome! Even if he were standing alone atleast he is standing!

Jiberish, I had to update the hub just a little. I was warned it was to short! I had no problem though finding more credible information about Congressman Rogers!

Well, now this Mike Rodgers fellow is just making too much sense. We can't have people like this standing up for the American public! What is this world coming to?

Jeffrey, I agree! Someone in Washington is actually using their brain! How strange is that? If they do not watch out the moral society will take over!

This is great, the point that the government can un-enroll a company from it's own insurance is a travesty. They are going after absolute power over health-care. I haven't heard anyone on the news (that I can remember) bring this guy up. WE need more like him with facts and simple analogy like the bed sheet. Maybe it will hit home. What else could this bill have that we don't know about. Good Job!!

ehern33, I am with you on this for sure! You are not going to hear anyone on the news bring this guy up because he is not supporting an Obama bill, with the exception of Fox News. The White House knows this to, that is why they tried to ban them just this week from doing an interview. I am scared of what else this bill may have. If this bill is passed it will void any bill passed before protecting unborn babies and who knows what else. Thanks for the comment!

You should send this to Glenn Beck, I'm sure he would run it. I'm glad you updated it. I will add it to my new Hub on MSNBC, and others, Thank you.

The federal government has no authority to get involved in pain care management.

Nicomp, it was a health savings program for low income families who were covered by medicaid and had restrictions because of their severe, chronic pain. The government has no authority to pass a healthcare plan that is controlling of the american people, they as a matter of fact have no authority to do most of the things that they have been doing, but they are. However, Congressman Rogers was not taking over these people's healthcare but instead helping in assistants.

Jiberish, I am very surprised that Glen Beck has not found this and ran it! Or Limbuagh for that matter! I will send it to them though, thanks!

Keep up the good work. As few and far between as they seem to be, we need to put this kind of politician out there, and support them in every way possible. I may not get to vote for Mr. Rogers, but I can pray for him now. Thanks! To Congressman Rogers: Bravo! Please don't give up.
