Connect Four - The Complete Guide

Connect Four was published by Milton Bradley in 1974.

The game is designed for 2 person play and for ages 7 on up.

1. Assemble the blue plastic legs to the yellow frame.Hold the frame upright, with the swinging lever at the bottom, and slot the hooks on the side of the frame into the holes on the plastic legs.
2. Each player is then given all the checkers to one color. Typically there are black and red checkers.

The object of the game is to be the first person to get 4 checkers in a row.

1. Choose who goes first.
2. Each player, in turn, drops their colored checker down any of the slots in the top of the frame.
3. Play alternates until one of the players gets four of their colored checkers in a row.
4. The four checkers in a row can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal.
5. The first player to get four of their colored checkers in a row wins.
6. To clear the frame swing the retaining lever, at the base of the frame, to one side. The checkers will then drop out.
