There are many consequences of your partner having an affair, however none are more damaging than a sexually transmitted disease. STD’s are more wide spread than ever before and if your partner has being stupid enough to have unprotected sex with someone there is a chance that they have passed it onto you.

I have a friend who works in the IT industry and she is surrounded by men and is privy to the sort of things that men talk about on a daily basis and she told me this one story that shocked me but did not surprise me on how low a cheat will go. She was talking to one of the guys a while back and he mentioned that he was going on holiday with his friends for a few weeks to a party destination and his girlfriend was not going with him whom was pregnant with their first child. When he returned he was bragging to his work colleague’s about all the girls he had slept with while on holiday and the pictures on his phone proved this.

She was sickened at which he bragged about his conquests so openly knowing he had a pregnant girlfriend at home and seemingly not showing any signs of guilt or bad feeling. She put her feeling across to him as a woman and did not bother talking to this guy for a few weeks after.
A month or so later she overheard a conversation with this guy and decided to join in to get some gossip and it turned out that one of the girls he had sex with while on holiday had contacted him via facebook to inform him she had caught Chlamydia and he better go get himself tested.  To say he was not bothered was an understatement as these things don’t happen to him and by the time he got back from his holiday he had been having regular sex with his girlfriend who was 5 to 6 months pregnant by now.

My friend pulled this guy to one side to have a private conversation with him and to basically give him an ear full about what he is doing and that he is risking the health of his girlfriend and also his unborn baby. She convinced him to go get checked out so he did and the test results took about a week to come back from the clinic. 

The test results come back positive for Chlamydia and this was the moment the alarm bells started to ring in his head as he now had the task of telling his girlfriend what he had been up to and what he might have given her and also the risk too the unborn baby. However he thought he could get away with it by grinding some tablets he got off the clinic into his girlfriends food “JUST INCASE”. This way he didn’t have to tell her and he would be in the clear.

However karma is a great thing as it turns out that his girlfriend found out what he had been up to as the girl who gave him Chlamydia also messaged his girlfriend on Facebook and told her everything
There is a happy ending to the story though as his girlfriend broke up with him and was given the all clear by the clinic then gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
