Conspiracy The Da Vinci Code Revealed
64The Da Vinci Code Films
When the first Da Vinci Code film was released I was among the many curious millions around the world desiring to see how Hollywood filmmakers put the novel to work. Of course the many commentaries coupled with the wild accusations leveled at the churches created an almost media frenzy, and my suspicious mind took over. I have lived long enough to witnessed attacks after attacks on the churches launched by those with hidden motifs’ and spread by a network of ambassadors parading as news pundits but nothing more than the dark destroyers foot soldiers. While I desire not to carry any banner or build a defensive field for an organization, as they are perfectly able to do so for themselves, I do wonder if many are keeping their eyes open and realize that an attack of Christianity anywhere is an attack on Christians everywhere. What is new in this film is plain for all to see, films are watched in homes in every culture, tongues and race and this message of a church conspiracy will echo far and wide to reduce its power and influence. That the established church fathers are complicit in many unsavory historical episodes one cannot deny, but the attacks sweeps like a broom across the Christian frontier engulfing the innocent organizations whose goals are solely about spreading the good news of Christ.
The Film
The fact that the author of the now famousDa Vinci Code, Dan Brown an American thriller fiction writer remains unnoticed by vast sway of readers gripped by the drama of his best known 2003 bestselling novel. Turned into a blockbuster film, Brown's novels feature the recurring themes of hidden secrets, keys, symbols, codes, and conspiracy theories designed to appeal to an already suspicious audience and heaping scorn and rebuke on ancient and modern church leaders. Given that his books have been translated into some 40 languages, and as of 2009, sold over 80 million copies he seems to have bridged a gap for anything suspicious and cruel about the church and those who will stop at nothing to see the destruction and annihilation of Christianity. The first film grossed vast sums at the box office, an indication of almost cult like popularity for this kind of fictitious work. The first film was so popular, it created a great desire for more and of course the filmmakers did not disappoint with the recent release The Da Vinci Code part two. There no doubt this film based on Brown's novels “The Lost Symbol” and featured popular Hollywood actor Tom Hanks as the lead character also include historical themes of putting Christianity in the docks as habitual offender, designed to whip up controversy. Brown is reported to defend his books as not anti-Christian, claiming he personally is on a “constant spiritual journey”. Adding that his book is simply "an entertaining story that promotes spiritual discussion and debate" and suggests that the book may be used "as a positive catalyst for introspection and exploration of our faith
Appetite
The world have what can only be described as a ravenous desire for anything dark, cultic and anti Christian which summed up the public's astonishing appetite for the second film, the long-awaited follow up to the prequel launched worldwide. A recent European research finding claims, people believe in Christianity if they grew up being suspicious, believing in dark things such as ghost, and witchcraft. This totally flies into the face of fully conscious broadminded educated and intelligent thinkers who made their decisions about God on fact not fiction. Mankind have an appetite for God because he was created with an innate desire to worship, and a study of the human experience reveals mankind disconnect from each other by vast sways of land or water developed some kind of worship system which worked for them. The even before Christian missionaries spread around the world to teach about the one true God, Yahweh. One only has to read the history of the vast Aztecs Empire, a people who dominated central and southern Mexico from the 14th to the 16th centuries in Mexico, South America far away form the Middle East where Christianity was born.
Latest Novel
Browns latest novel, The Lost Symbol is predicted to become the best-read adult novel in publishing history. With leading stores reporting that they cannot keep up with demands, copies running of the shelves as much as19 copies a minute from displays next to food display shelves. The publisher’s are so convinced of novels success they have ordered prints of a million copies, the most in its recorded history. The Lost Symbol chronicled parallel successes to The Da Vinci Code; with the star Tom Hanks decoding puzzles and going on the run from shadowy forces, on this occasion the culprit are the Freemasons. The book nevertheless does not have smooth sailing into mankind consciousness as some commentators have branded the latest novel "unintelligent, imitative and bulky". While his supporters applauded the authors his ability to give his millions of fans what their hearts desire. For the publishing industry, the book's strengths and weaknesses were only being measured in numbers.
A Spinner
If Mr. Brown was keen on finding truth, being able to produce such a manuscript testify that he has the ability to research and come up with something more factual. Instead he paraded in wild speculation and interpretation feeding the media frenzy and an already suspicious world keen to unveil any conspiracy especially connected to the church. The author studied the human psyche and understood the underlying suspicious nature and embarked on a journey, not a spiritual one to discover truth but to exploit people’s suspicions to his own gain. The novels of Brown is worth millions worldwide and since 2003 Da Vinci Code his millions have multiplied and increased further through other illustrated editions, spin-off fictional journals and box sets. To many people Brown’s novels has become nothing less than a phenomenon and a must have. I among many remain unconvinced about the accuracy of the novels and question whether the soaring sales of Dan Brown books will have a beneficial effect on his readers.
Complicity
The documented history of how we got the Bible in its present form is fascinating one and in fact starts thousands of years ago, as briefly outlined in the history of the bible. As background information, I recommend that you first review the discussion of this work, which covers the transmission of the scripture through the original languages of Hebrew and Greek, and the 1,000 years of the dark & middle Ages when the message was trapped in Jewish/Arabic/Greek and a little Latin. One other starting point for Bible history, is the advent of the scripture in the English language with the “Morning Star of the Reformation”, John Wycliffe. The questions which are burning on many believers minds, reading the novels or watching the films, “The Da Vinci Code” or “The Lost Symbol” whether Christ was married to Mary Magdalene, whether He had children with her, whether the affairs of the church was placed in Mary’s hands, that she should have been the head of the church? The conspiracy theorist saw the church destroying any evidence of the messiah’s marriage and family, any notion of a female church leadership, being complicit in refusing leadership roles to women. Based on the history of female roles in and outside of the church, one can see how a conspiracy theory can be easily formed, developed wings and spread in an untrained mind. Many interpret the bible at their own peril, while many seek guidance before they decode doing it falsely and spread a lie.

The Da Vinci Code
I believe there could be some truth in it and also stretch to make it a bestseller. On the other hand the church does not give us the full truth either which is wrong again. I also think if the church would allow the priest to marry it would be a whole healthier situation. Why? They make it look like as if marriage is something dirty. Also Rome has so much money I can't see that Jesus would agree with it. There are not only people but children starving to death. I believe in a God and teaching of my religion I was born in but can't accept the doing of the church. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed your hub. Thank you.
Yes we do live in a world where people will beleive anything, makes it worse when they stop beleiving in God, they accepts everything

This type of hype abot Biblical conspiracy is not new and while there may be some truth in the message being distorted I beleive in the overall message.

Hello, hello the unmarried priesthood policy has no part in christianity the bible actively encouraged us to get married to avoid sinning through temtation. But for centuries the policy has been a part of pagan culture which was part of the Greecian system of beleifs, they were steeped in mythology. The policy was adapted into the Roman empire when they became world ruling power. Pope Constantine claimed conversion to christianity and the universal church was born but instead of abolishing paganism they carried them over into christianity. because of the failures of this church people like to beleive they were involved in conspiracy to hide the truth of Christ teachings. Now I am not defending this church but the truth out there suggest the Da Vinci Code conspiracy theory is a load of rubbish and flurish only because people generally are prone to beleive a lie than they do truth. The is a book entitled "unveiling the Da Vinci Code" and I have watched documentaries led by many art historians, scientist and biblical scholars declaring there is absolutely no evidence of a cover up. They declare Dan Brown a fantacist at best, and that he prey on the vulnerable and speculators in society to make money. Humanity has shown that if something is written in newspapers, magazines or appears in films and TV there is some truth to it. Well I've got some news here and it is people lie, for whatever reasons they do it is not for me to say. The examination of the facts proved Dan Brown lied in his books, prey on peoples fears and is making millions in the process.
