Constant Content - Get Paid For Writing
63I love writing, and have always enjoyed having my say in magazines, newspapers and on various websites.
Well, today I sold my very first article. I opened my mailbox this morning, and was thrilled to see an email telling me in black and white that I had sold an original composition.
I guess that makes me a professional writer, does it not? Okay, maybe not in everyone's book, so to speak, but it makes me rather happy. One article is just the start. Now I know I can sell my articles, there will be no stopping me.
So how did I, with no experience, actually sell an original article?
I did it with the help of a website called:
I simply signed up for a free account, wrote a couple of pieces, and voila! I am absolutely delighted with the result.
Even better, specific content articles are continuously being requested by real buyers, so there is always something about which to write.
You have the option of selling your article for usage only, which means you retain full control, for unique use, which means that no-one else can publish the article, but it is published as is with your by-line, or full rights, which means the buyer has the right to do whatever he or she likes with the article.
It doesn't even have to be an article. You can write reviews, tutorials and blog entries. You can even sell photographs, videos and illustrations.
Now I have actually sold my first article, I am very happy to recommend Constant Content to all writers.

Thanks Patty and Kenny. It was an article suggesting how to deal with people who pass on chain emails. I am excited, yes. I'm very happy that this avenue is open to all people who love to write. I was joking with my husband last night saying, "How does it feel to be married to a professional, published author?". Seriously though, it is a bit of fun which can lead to some nice extra spending money. So get writing :D !!

I understand how it feels to get your first cheque and be a pro! The first cheque is usually small, but it says that they consider you a pro writer. I got mine only this year, and I danced about the place!

Yes, Penny, it's wonderful. I wish that on everybody; everybody should be doing what they love. Then the reward is twofold! And it keeps me off the pubs, hee hee!

I also write for Constant Content, and find it's the best place to make a decent amount for your writing. I have found that lately, though, buyers are going more for the cheaper usage articles than full rights.
That's interesting. I wonder why that is?
I have been writing for Constant Content for over a year and I love it. Even though some buyers are buying the cheaper articles for usage, I am still selling $50 to $100 articles for full rights almost every week. I even sold one article twice for usage at $40 the other day! This is a website that definitely makes money for authors. I am extremely passionate about Constant Content and I've even written an ebook to help new authors figure out how this unique site works and how to get articles approved for sale, called "Sales Success on Constant Content." Basically, I have found Constant Content to be a wonderful outlet for my writing and I would love to share this passion with anyone else who enjoys writing.
