I suggest that you read what people are saying about Constant Focus on one of my favorite sites DietBlogTalk.com - Constant Focus
Sensational.com is also a great location to read about Constant Focus and a whole lot more.
Overview
Though the brain can begin to short out in a variety of ways as we age, one common symptom seems to be an decreased ability to focus. Whether it’s due to fatigue, poor diet, or other, subtler factors, focus or mental clarity often eludes many of us.
Constant Focus™ is supposedly here to help. According to product promotions, Constant Focus™ is designed to improve attention span, boost efficiency, enhance mental potential, and even assist us in absorbing information – all claims I’ve found repeatedly in researching mental enhancers.
Constant Focus™ allegedly performs this feat by delivering properly balanced nutrition to the brain. The ingredients in Constant Focus™ are thus said to increase blood flow to the brain, deliver oxygen, protect from free radicals, and enhance neurotransmitter function. The Constant Focus™ formula consists of vitamins, minerals, herbs, and botanicals that are commonly associated with enhanced brain function.
Ingredients at a Glance
Constant Focus™ contains Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Dl-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Thiamine, Riboflavin, Nacinamide, Vitamin B6, Folate, Vitamin B12, Zinc, Manganese, Gotu Kola, Grape Seed, Ginkgo Biloba, L-Glutamine, Bacopa Monnieri, Phosphatidylserine, Choline Bitartrate, DMAE, Siberian Ginseng, N-Acetyl L-Carnitine, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Turmeric Root, Vinpocentine, Bioperine, Huperzine A.
Ingredients in Focus
From among these, the following are of note:
Gotu Kola is an herb that contains Bacoside A and B. Bacoside A may release nitric oxide and relax the aorta and veins, promoting blood flow. Bacoside B is a protein that may nourish brain cells.
Grape Seed Extract delivers many benefits, not least of which is the strengthening of blood vessels and the prevention or control of damage caused by various toxins.
DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol) is an antioxidant that seems to positively affect the brain and is used to treat ADHD, enhance the memory and mood, boost cognitive function, and improve overall performance.
Pros
* Contains a variety of promising, natural ingredients.
Cons
* Conventional in claims and formulation.
* Website leaves much to be desired.
* Advertising is somewhat hazy and general.
Final Thoughts
Constant Focus™ is not an awful option. In fact, it’s rather a mediocre one, residing somewhere in the middle of the brain-enhancer pack. In other words, there is a host of such products. I would recommend consumers do a bit more research and look for products that are more directly suited to the task of delivering nutrition to the brain and enhancing its function. The formula behind Constant Focus™ is a little too catch-all to be believable. It’s time to look elsewhere.
