Concert goers may already be aware that they often experience a weird constant ringing in ears every time they are done watching a concert. A few of them are aware why this happens to them, while majority are still unaware why they get to experience a tinnitus.

People who frequently see concerts must be aware that ears ringing after a concert occurs as a sign that the hair cells in the cochlea has been subjected to too much trauma, brought about by the exposure of the ears to very loud noise. Loud noise is inevitable during a concert and this is due to the presence of very loud speakers and screaming audiences who get excited throughout the concert, and can be damaging to the hair cells of the cochlea.

Constant ringing ears may be avoided even if you love going to concerts. There is no need to deprive yourself of the joy that you get from listening to your favorite songs being sung by your favorite artist or live band. So how can this be avoided? Interesting question to ask, but there are definitely ways to help you with it.

When watching a concert, as much as possible, find a location or position yourself in a place that is away from the loud speakers. The closer you are to the speakers, the greater the chance of exposing your ears to very loud noise, which in the end will give you a ringing in your ears. You can still enjoy the concert that you are watching even if you are not that close to the loud speakers.

Another thing that you may want to try is using ear plugs. Carrying an ear plug may be a clever idea when going not only to concert halls and venue, but also to discos where the music is terribly loud. Ear plugs can protect your ears from getting exposed to extremely loud music.

The lesson here is to enjoy life and do the things that you love to do like listening to music, either thru Ipods, radios, in concerts and discos, and yet not doing any harm to your ears. We must always remember life's constant rule: Anything that is too much is not good for your health. Too much of loud music can damage the hair cells of the cochlea and bring temporary to permanent hearing loss, which can result to a constant ringing in ear.
