What are my Top 5 Content Writing Tips:
59I'm out of my comfort zone here.
Hello Everyone. Familyaffairs here. frogdropping has just asked me to write a Hub about my top 5 content writing tips. Although at first I wasn’t going to do this because my niche market and what I like to write about is Home Based Business. Writing this actually took me out of my comfort zone. I have to be honest here it was a breath of fresh air and it just goes to show that these principals can work with anything that you wish to write about. So here we go.
My #1 Tip is.
To write about: Your own experiences, knowledge and the most important thing here is to be Honest. Write about your topics not yourself (That‘s what your BIO is for), or your business (your business should be left on your website).
My #2 Tip is.
When I’m not sure what to write about or have a block then I: Go to sites like E-zines, Wiki‘s, Forums, Hub Pages, Squidoo and the such. Look at the topics that your interested in and have knowledge of. Read what others are writing (This is a great way of coming up with new content to write about). If you see an article that you think is incomplete or can be improved upon then do a rewrite in your own words that is.(Do not copy other peoples work or even use a percentage of it that‘s just wrong). It needs to be 100% your own.
My #3 Tip is.
Keep it simple for the masses: Don’t write like you would a term paper or something for school. Just be yourself and write for people in all walks of life. (Remember not everybody on the net uses English as there first language or even has a college education). Most of the people who read your stuff will be every day people like you and I.
My #4 Tip is.
Keep the content interesting: Keep your article on target, fresh and within about 400 to 600 words. If it’s to short then you just wrote a press release if its to long then you run the risk of people getting bored with it. When you go off topic and or just ramble on with your topic then people have the tendency to get bored with it quickly. (You should be able to read an article in about 3-5 minutes).
My #5 Tip is.
It doesn’t have to be perfect: If you keep trying to make your content perfect then you will never get it posted. (Remember that when judging yourself there is no perfection). Just make sure your spelling and grammar are correct and that the structure (Paragraphs, Pronunciation, Sentences) is in decent shape.
Conclusion:
Well there you have it. My top 5 content writing tips. These are just the top things that I keep in mind when I’m deciding what to write and actually writing my content. I just hope that this Hub helps someone else to get out of there comfort zone and try something new and fresh.

Hubpages allows us to enhance what we write by way of varying forms of media. We can create a secodary interest here - at Ezine, Associated Content etc you've got to nail your article 'as is'. I hope this get's some decent reads as it ages :)
