Computers Little Annoyances

AVI, Mpeg, Mpeg4, DivX, Xvid, MOV, WMV, WMV HD, DV, MKV ... What ever happened to the time when all you had to do was turn on your TV to watch your favourite show. With the variety of things to watch out there is cyberworld it can become very confusing to know what is and is not compatible with your DVD player. VHS than BETA, now DVD, Blue-Ray, HD-DVD, when will it all end!

Some DVD players on the market try to make it simpler by incorporating DivX and MP4 compatibilities but that hardly accounts for the formats you will find on YouTube or Google Video.

The VSO Solution

If you want to have what you watch on the internet in your DVD library, VSO has come up with a software that can convert any type of media file into DVD format.

All you have to do is trace the file adjust the Menu making properties and hit the Convert button, its that simple. And it even comes with its own burning software so that everything is streamlined for simplicity sake.

Step By Step Guide

  1. Find the video you want to download and hit the Download button. If there isn't a download option than hack into it. To do this, watch the video and when it has completed buffering, search for the video file in your Temporary internet folder. Then drag it to your My Video folder.
  2. Buy and Instal ConvertXtoDVD.
  3. The rest is straitforward as the software does the rest.
  4. Burn to DVD and watch it on your home DVD player.

Free Trial and Cost

The free trial allows you to convert three files before it times out. However, the video will have a slight watermark embedded into it.

If you are certain this will annoy you the program costs about $60 Canadian. I believe this is a bargain when you consider all the free movies and shows you will have for free from the internet into your video library. considering all of the other video converters out there ConvertXtoDVD is by far the easiest and better quality program out there. You will not regret the purchase.
