Proper way of disposing waste cooking oil

It is in the kitchen where we used a lot of cooking oil to cook our meals and deep fry chicken and even fish. Oil that is really hard to get rid of and really makes our kitchen looks too oily affecting most of the tile finish & sink we had in the kitchen.

These are the reasons why most us are trying to find ways of properly disposing used and waste cooking oil. A proper way that seems to be difficult to think of especially when you are dealing with used or waste cooking oil.

Disposal of oil in our kitchen sink and toilet bowl is really not the right thing to do up to this time. This congeals drain pipes and will provoke blockages that will surely give problem to us later on.

The oil is lighter than water and could easily spread to thin and broad membranes that obstruct oxygenation of water. A liter of oil could contaminate as much as one (1) million liters of water. This is the reason why dumping this to the water closet and kitchen sink is really not a good move and not advisable.

The purpose of finding the proper way of disposing waste cooking oil is a very important waste management concern. A move that almost all of us should consider in order to have a good and proper waste management as far as this particular thing is involved.

The best and proper way to dispose waste cooking oil is to put this inside a non-recyclable container and discard or get rid of it together with regular garbage. This action has been proven so effective and most of the people and establishments using a big volume of cooking oil are using this way of disposing. There maybe some other ways but this is the practical and proper way to do it.
