Begin your Christmas crafts for kids by taking a look at the accompanying picture. Use this image as a guide to make Christmas crafts for kids of all ages. Start by clearing a table and preparing for crafts that involve glue. If your child is younger, it might be best to throw a plastic tablecloth or a sheet of butcher paper on the table to protect your furniture. For older children, it should be simple enough to contain the glue for this Christmas craft.

Gather your materials and let's begin.

Items you will need:

-- 1 to 1.5 inch jingle bells

-- White, foam corks (or large marshmallows if you plan to dispose of these each year)

-- Brown pipe cleaner

-- Thin, red ribbon

-- Googly eyes

-- Red or black pon pons for your reindeer's nose

-- Black, thin point permanent marker

-- Sturdy string or fishing line

-- Scissors

-- Glue

Instructions for your easy Christmas crafts for kids

1. Glue your white foam cork or marshmallow to the top of your jingle bell. Set aside to dry for 5 minutes.

2. Cut a brown pipe cleaner in half and bend to form your reindeer antlers. Glue off-centered to the top of your white reindeer head.

3. Cut your string or fishing line into a 6-inch section. Tie to form a circle. Glue the knot of your string to the top of the head, between the antlers.

4. Finish your reindeer's face by gluing on the googly eyes and nose in the desired areas. Draw a mouth using your marker.

5. To complete your reindeer and hide the seam between your bell body and cork head, cut a 10-inch section of ribbon and tie into a bow. Glue, centered on the seam between the head and body -- forming a bow tie.

Allow your glue to dry before hanging or handling your reindeer. It should not take more than 15 minutes to dry completely. Assembly will take about 10-15 minutes depending on the age of the children assembling their crafts. For more Christmas craft ideas for kids, check out these impressive Christmas ornaments.
