Cordless Lawnmower
78Time to Mow the Lawn Again? Don't Panic
It's one of those chores most of us always hate, namely, mowing the lawn. Especially because most people do not have the latest, state of the art cordless lawnmower. Instead we try to put it off and invent reasons not to mow the lawn. For those fortunate enough to have children, having them mow the lawn can be a perfect character building exercise. Another option is hiring landscapers to do the dirty work for you, but of course, the costs for doing so can add up. What other solutions are out there for avoiding this often dreaded task? Well introducing artificial turf is one excellent suggestion, as you can then also save on watering costs by not having to pay for sprinklers either. Another option is to simply pave over your front yard with asphalt. Then you won't even need to own any lawnmowers at all. Of course, both of these options might make your house look dreadful and cause property rates to fall. Moreover, there are certain zoning regulations that might forbid undertaking such actions. But then there is one more option, better than any other we have mentioned, and it is based on an innovation that might actually bring back the joy in mowing your lawn. You might actually find yourself waking up in the morning and only being able to think about one thing: that's right, mowing the lawn with your new cordless lawnmower. In fact, some people even love lawnmowers so much they form societies dedicated to their use, or even race them, like these people. You see, the technology surrounding lawnmowers has really evolved over only the past few decades or so to the point that mowing the lawn no longer needs to be a painful chore. Because the advent of cordless lawnmowers turn lawn mowing into an enjoyable hobby, and even something of an art.

Small Innovation, Huge Difference
Lawnmowers might be thought of as one of the last devices to go cordless. There have long been cordless power drills, or other tools, but lawnmowers obviously require far more power to operate, especially if you have a rather large yard. Nonetheless, the advances in technology have been huge and many well known companies have come out with their own cordless lawnmower models. Bosch remains one of the biggest high quality names, with exemplars like the Bosch Rotak 37 LI pictured above. Some cordless devices even tap into the benefits of solar power, and these can obviously stay active even longer. The days of old rusty, heavy and inefficient lawnmowers are long gone, even though some delirious people insist on living in the past. What are the possible advantages of cordless lawnmowers and why are they so great one might ask? For anyone with experience with both cordless and non-cordless lawnmowers the answer is immediately apparent, obvious in fact, For one, you have a much greater range with a cordless lawnmower. The Bosch Rotak 43 LI can cut over 600 squared metres of lawn surface, which, assuming you do not live in a multi-acre estate, should cover your everyday needs. Eventually settling on a certain brand and model is another difficult exercise, however, there is a wealth of information online, including lawnmower reviews, to help make your final decision a little easier. That way you can make an informed decision when selecting from among the many numerous brands with similar performance and technology.
The benefits of cordless lawnmowers are quite numerous. You can easily trim the greenery around the corners of your yard, next to the fences or even surrounding trees with these devices. Furthermore, not being restricted by a cord allows you total freedom of movement when mowing the lawn and enables you to choose the most efficient sequence possible. Tripping over your own cord or getting it tangled along the way is no longer possible. Indeed you can actually let your creative gardening desires run wild, in such a way that is not possible if bound to a power cable. Of course, cordless lawnmowers still need to be recharged and so it is wise to always make sure your lawnmower is fully charged before using it. There are even better, larger and more efficient lawnmowers out there, like electric lawnmowers or tractor mowers, but the cordless adaptation of the standard lawnmower remains the most practical. By adding one key technical innovation, without hardly adding anything to the price, mowing the lawn can actually be a pleasurable experience, instead of something to dreaded.

If you only have a small garden then I wouldnt spend any more than about 50 pounds, I think you can get the Flymo Rollermo for that and Flymo is a really good brand and makes mowing a breeze.
For somthing very small you could try the flymo microlite

Just bought my first mower - a Bosch Rotak 37 LI. I really enjoyed using this mower. It really makes mowing a joy! I had previously used gas self propelled mowers on larger lawns, but since i have a small lawn of my own, i decided on this mower. Moving from gas to electric is dificult mainly because of the cord, and this solves that issue.

How much do I have to invest in a lawnmower? I have a small garden, and lawnmower won't be used so often. Is there any mini type or portable lawnmower out in the market?
