Corporate Social Responsibility
63Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a concept whereby organizations or a business consider the interests of the society by taking responsibility for the impact of their activities on customers, employees, and the environment in all aspects of their operations. This obligation is seen to extend obligation to comply and improve the quality of life for employees and their families as well as for the local community and society.
CSR is evident in everything the company do, from adherence to strict ethical guidelines and corporate governance standards to longstanding support of the communities where they do business. I believe that Corporate Responsibility is part of the business and employees responsibility to make it an integral part of the society. These responsibilities cater their customers and suppliers, shareholders, the wider community and to the environment. Where the company recognize their specific responsibility to understand the concerns of others and to provide information responsible for their client and future clients.
However we can't deny the fact that the CSR that they are doing is just an stratergy to attract more loyalist of their products and services. Where they can make programs and projects that promote their products, services and their name as a whole. It also helps the company to have better image than their competitors.
Even so, we don't know the real facts of why a certain company implement their own Corporate Social Responsibility. We can't conclude anything of what a certain company is trying to build to the Market world. Its thier marketing strategy comes out when we talk to this matter.
