If you visit Costa Rica, you will either land in the airport in San Jose or Liberia if you come from Atlanta, GA.
San Jose is what it is, lots of whorehouses, some cool clubs, malls, movei theaters. San Jose reminds me to LA. It's a great place when you hang with good people and a crap place when you don't know where to go.
The best place in Costa Rica to me is the Nicoya Peninsula, especially Malpais.
Malpais is where the jungle meets the beach. It's located on the pacific side of Costa Rica and one of the best surf spots on earth.
Dominical is another cool spot and the Peninsula de Osa is also recommended. You can also go to Puerto Viejo on the carribean side where you feel like you're in Jamaica. Everyone there speaks English and unlike the bad news that travel agencies give you trying to sell you packages to go to shitholes like Tamarindo and Jaco, Puerto Viejo is very safe.

Well the pictures are very nice. Maybe you can tell us more about surfing in Costa Rica since you seem to know a lot about that subject.
There is no better surf spot I have ever been to. Good idea. Problem is that we have rainy seasons here from May to October when you can't surf, so yeah, I will come up with some cool info.
