In case you were wondering, I have decided what I want to get for Christmas this year, and that is this beautiful Diamond Waffle Weave Organic Cotton Robe from Green Nest (pictured above and to the right).  This is what Green Nest says about it. Who wouldn't want an organic cotton bath robe for Christmas?  A bath robe is the perfect gift, one size fits all, you can give it to men or women, and it is so comfy and delicious to wear.  It is like walking around with a soft comfortable towel that just wraps around your body.

Another great bath robe is a terry cotton bath robe. Whether it is made of organic cotton or not is your choice.  You may find that organic cotton bath robes are not as expensive as you might think, but there are a lot of nice terry cotton bath robes.  I have to admit that I am a spa cotton bath robe person, and prefer to wear white bathrobes.  I also like white cotton towels in my bathroom, however if you are giving the terry cotton bath robe to a person on your gift list who likes color, there are some great colors to choose from.

For men, a dark rich color like red, navy, or hunter green is always a good choice for a robe, and for women there are robes in just about any color of the rainbow.

Cotton is a very absorbent material.  Another good choice is a bamboo/cotton blend.  Bamboo also is very absorbent.  Therefore both fabrics make the best material if you use your bath robe after a bath or a shower when your skin is still wet or damp. Cotton also breathes well, so you can dry off and stay cool under your bath robe.

Another feature of cotton is that cotton will get softer, the more you wear and wash it, and soft cotton feels great against your skin.  Cotton is also durable which you need if you are going to wash a fabric a lot.
