I'm Babbling...
60
It's been a couple of weeks now since I wrote my last hub. I wanted to write something that is me. No offense meant to people who create intilligent hubs. I just wanted something that's directly from my thoughts. I've always thought that writing is expressing one's self. But I could be wrong, a lot of people write for different reasons. I wonder If I've lost my contemplative state where I gather my thoughts, take my pen and my notebook and write my thoughts. Normally, I write in a journal manner but I'd like to grow in writing. Learn new stuff where other people can relate to what I am babbling about and will still be able to identify it as "me'. I couldn't find any sensible topic to write at the moment, however, I have gathered a few questions for myself to answer. I am a deep thinker. Along the way I have grown tired of thinking too much. Wanting too much out of life. I could relate to Stacie Orrico's song, "There's Gotta be More To Life". I guess all of us feels the same way. I've changed a bit now. I did a little mindsetting, changing the quotes that's stuck in my head. I would like to appreciate whatever is served on my platter rather than looking at the other side of the fence with a bird's eye view.

Ur Friend for ever!
Hi Robert,
So are you my number one fan now? I sent you a text message, thought I's spend the night with you and Ellah. Look at the sky, the moon and two stars formed a sort of a smiley face. Lovely!
Hi Sheenarobins,
I loved your hub and am glad that I took the time to read it. I know another lady from the Phillipines that posts her poetry on Poetbay.com, but I forget her real name fight offhand. I only remember that her last name is Whel. Do you know anyone with that last name? Seems like her first name might be Marinda or something like that. She doesn't post using her real name. The name she uses is Haseen. She is probably about your age; I believe she will be 30 this year. She knows me by my real name Damon Brewer and calls me Dad.
Good to meet you and you have a great hub here.
Johnny Yuma
Johnny,
I'm sorry I do not know her personaly but I searched the internet and found her by this name, haseen whel in poetbay.com. I hope it helped somehow. Thanks for dropping by.
Yes, that is her. I sometimes post poetry there too. That is the site that we met on. I just thought that you might know her seeing that both of you are from the Phillipines. I have no idea how big they are, but I think they contain several islands. Isn't that right?
Johnny Yuma
Yes, the Philippines is an Asian country, it is an island country with Manila as it's Capital. It is divided in three island groups Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. We speak different languages with Tagalog as our national language. and the three islands is subdivided in little islands which I'm not going to elaborate because it will fill my comments with history. Toink! we even have a resort that's called Hundred Islands because it is composed of a hundred and more islands. You ride a boat getting from one to the other.
The city where I am in is Cebu, is a small town where everthing is near to everything. Like the malls, church, offices and the place where I live. Still it is big to be called an Island.
heheheh. thanks
These are great questions! I too loved Shawshank Redemption. I recently watched The Bucket List with Jack Nicholson, who happens to be one of my favorite actors. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it.
I see we have some things in common. I too am a smoker and a reader. I've also been down the road with the wrong men at different times. Not fun, but certainly lessons learned.
Thanks for sharing.
hi trish,
I'm glad to know we like the same things too. I have watched the bucket list too and I loved it. I watched it twice.lol
I'm supposed to read my book now but I decided to check my hubs first. I'm reading "The Birth Of Venus", I like it so far.
I plan on watching it again myself. I'm supposed to be cleaning, but I find hubpages often interrupts :)
hahah. You must try cooking and hibbing at the same time. hehehe. This is addicting really. Thanks for dropping by trish.
