Save Some Time

If you have an inground swimming pool than you know just how time consuming it can be to keep it clean. During the winter and fall months the wind blows leaves, twigs, and other debris into it clogging up your filter and causing you to skim things out every day. In the summer time you have to worry about bugs, leaves, and frogs from coming in.

In order to save you some time and frustration we recommend that you invest in a swimming pool cover. I know that they can be expensive - but imagine how much cleaner your pool will be and how much time you can spend on other things. To go with your swimming pool cover you will want to invest in a swimming pool cover pump as well.

This pump is used to remove any water that has gathered on top of your pool cover from rain. Did you know that a quarter of an inch of water can weigh around a hundred pounds or more depending on how large your pool is? Because of this you will find it difficult to remove it because it will be too heavy.

There are two different types of swimming pool cover pumps; manual and automatic level sensing. The manual types require that you keep an eye on how quickly the pump is working and turn it off when you think it is finished. This might take a long time - but if you are looking to save a little bit of money than this is the kind you want.

Automatic level sensing pool cover pumps are built with sensors that will be able to detect the level of water that is on the cover and will turn itself on when there is too much and off again when it has removed it. This is definitely more convenient for many people - but prepare to spend quite a bit more.
