CLICK HERE to Unblock Craigslist and post on Craigslist USA from anywhere in the world.
Craigslist is the world's largest online classifieds and there are many good reasons that someone may need a Craigslist proxy to post on this site. Due to the popularity of Craigslist, they have taken certain measures to try and control their community. While the original intent of these measures was good, they have had a negative impact on many legitimate people.
The first reason someone may want a proxy to unblock Craigslist with is due to them not living within the USA. Craigslist uses IP geo-location to block people from posting ads on country specific sites in which they do not live. For example, if you live in Canada you are not allowed to post on Craigslist USA. For many people this causes a great loss of income. As Craigslist USA is the largest Craigslist site in the world, the site has the potential to generate a lot of traffic and income if you happen to be selling something. By using a proxy with Craigslist you can change your location to that of the USA and Craigslist will be non the wiser.
The second reason why someone may need a proxy is because for whatever reason their IP or IP range has been banned. Craigslist implements many different types of spam control measures and one is the blocking of IPs that exceed a certain number of posts within a specified time. While this is good for blocking spammers, what if you happen to be in the same IP range as the spammers? While you were not spamming, Craigslist can not tell the difference between you or the spammer. The result is, not only do they stop the spammer but they also stop innocent people that just happen to have the misfortune of being in the same IP range as the spammer. With a proxy, you can overcome this problem. Changing your IP enables to bypass any blocked IP steps that Craigslist may have taken.
While many people may consider those that use proxies as spammers, this couldn't be further from the truth. These are just a few legitimate reasons as to why someone may need a Craigslist proxy. I wish you all the best in your money making ventures on Craigslist.
Craigslist Phone Verification
It is spreading like wild fire and causing major havoc on Craigslist. Some time ago Craigslist introduced phone verification into the erotic services section. After a period of testing it was finally introduced into all the services section. Basically, before you can post in the services section now, you must verify your Craigslist account via phone. This is a simple process that involved inputting your phone number, receiving a phone call and a code and then typing it in. Once done your account is ready to post on Craigslist with. Since phone verification was introduced, a few things have changed. There are a lot stricter rules on how often you can post and your ads must be more unique than the previous spam rules allowed. The good side however is that many spammers have been eliminated from posting as they live outside of the USA or live in the USA but can not get enough phone numbers to continue posting like they used to. Craigslist continues to fight spam and now just having a Craigslist proxy isn't enough, you need phone numbers as well. All in all, I think phone verification has had a positive effect on Craigslist.
Picking the Best Craigslist Proxy
If you have been forced down the road of setting up or looking for your own Craigslist proxy, then these tips may be of use.
- Make sure it is 100% anonymous - MANY proxy providers claim their proxies are anonymous. The sad truth is that they aren't. You can check just how anonymous your proxy is by visiting www.whatismyipaddress.com and seeing what is displayed. If it detects that you are using a proxy, then it isn't anonymous and Craigslist will also be able to see you are using a proxy.
- Multiple IPs - You will need multiple IPs. One IP isn't enough unless you are only posting 1 or 2 ads a day. Make sure you can get access to at least a few extra IPs.
- FAST - Many proxies online are terribly slow. So slow in fact that dialup is faster. Check the speed of your proxy by web surfing around or using the "ping" command in the command window. You want a proxy that isn't slow when web surfing or has around a 200 - 300ms ping time.
I hope those tips help you in finding your very own and hopefully reliable Craigslist proxy.
Craigslist Posting Tips
With the new phone verification posting in the services section isn't as easy as it used to be. Here are some tips that you can use to improve your ads if you post with or without a Craigslist proxy:
- Unique ads - Ads in the services section now need to really be unique. You will need to pay more attention to your wording of the titles and the body of the ad. For example, using the same random text in the main body of the ad is detected quickly. You will need to rotate through this random text.
- Frequency of posting - Only post a maximum of 3 ads every 48 hours. If you exceed this limit you will get a message telling you that you have reached the maximum number of ads. If you continue to overpost you run the risk of having your account blocked. If your account is blocked, it is only blocked from the services section you can still post as normal in any other category.
- Cookie monster - As with all sections on Craigslist, remember to clean your cookies. By not doing this you are leaving traces of previous account activity.
- IP - Remember to rotate your IP. I would recommend rotating your IP every few minutes or posts. By not doing this you run the risk of having your IP banned either temporarily or pernamently.
Most of these tips you should already be aware of if you are an experienced poster on Craigslist. Phone verification has brought about good changes (less competition) so I would definitely take advantage of this.
Beyond Craigslist
Are you looking for other classified sites beyond Craigslist? Many people don't have a Craigslist proxy server they can use, so you may be interested in looking at some other high ranking sites. You won't get anywhere near as much traffic as you can from Craigslist, but some traffic is better than no traffic.

Best Craigslist Sections to Get Traffic
There are MANY sections on Craigslist, and if you have your own Craigslist Proxy you will no doubt want to know which sections provide the most traffic. By posting your ads in the sections that get the most traffic, you potentially stand to generate more income. There are two main sections which I personally believe get the most traffic on Craigslist.
The first is the jobs section. Many people search on Craigslist for a job. By posting your ads in the jobs section you stand to gain a lot of views. Many job sections are now paid, so you will have to do some digging. The cities listed on the front page of Craigslist (the top 22) are now all paid and you will have to view all Craigslist USA cities and dig down. Even those these free cities receive less traffic than the top paid ones, there is still MASSIVE amounts of traffic to be gained by posting your ads in these sections. In addition to a lot of traffic, they also do not require a PVA to post in.
The second most traffic section on Craigslist is the Erotic Services section. Sex sells and it does very well on Craigslist. Just by going in and looking at the ERS section and refreshing your browser after a few minutes, you will see probably an entire page of new ads posted within those few minutes. ERS requires a PVA and now is paid, but this hasn't stopped people from posting there. If you have a product or service that can be promoted in the ERS section, it may be something you consider doing.
If traffic is what you need, then I strongly suggest looking to see if you can get your ads into one of the above sections. If you've got your own Craigslist Proxy, it probably isn't free (free proxies don't work with Craigslist) so you have some overhead expenses to pay. Make the most of your proxy and target the sections on Craigslist that get the most traffic.
Craigslist Posting Tip #1
Just because you have your own Craigslist proxy doesn't mean your ads will stick on Craigslist. There are many sections on Craigslist and each section has it own complex set of rules to stop people spamming Craigslist. The downside to this is that more often than not, people who are not spamming Craigslist get their ads blocked. They usually have no idea went wrong and continue to repeat the same post and are never successful in posting their ad. Here is a tip on how to make your ads on Craigslist stick.
Make your title for your ad match the section it is posting in. This may sound simple and obvious, but people posting in the jobs section with "Get Rich Quick" titles are probably getting heaps of ghosted ads. Craigslist doesn't ghost all ads, some still manage to get through. What you will find though is that if your ad title doesn't match the section you are posting in, expect to have a lot of ghosted ads. This means if you are posting in the job sections, your ad title should use frequent and common job words. This applies to any section. Take a look at what other people have posted and see which kinds of words they are using. If you see a lot of ads using a certain combination of words then more than likely if you use them too your ad will stick.
Posting Ads With Images
Looking for a quick way to make your ad stand out on Craigslist? Try images. By posting an ad with an image, Craigslist marks you ad with an image note, and when people are browsing through sections they can see which ads have images and which don't. People love images/pictures. You will most likely find that by changing nothing in your ad other than just adding an image, you will get more people clicking on your ad to see what it is all about. Make sure that your image creates interest, but doesn't reveal everything. You want to use the image to make them interested in what you have to offer. Hopefully, they will then click on your image ad and go to your site or they will contact you via email or phone. Just be careful, as not all sections on Craigslist allow images.
Clickable Ads on Craigslist
Other than using images, one of the best ways to increase traffic from Craigslist is to use clickable ads. You could do this by making text or images on Craigslist clickable via hyperlink. Sounds easy right? Well, yes and no. I would recommend that you do not link directly to your site. Instead, use a secondary site as a go between. Link from Craigslist, to your secondary site and then redirect from your secondary site to your main site. Why bother to go through all this trouble? Simply because if you post too many ads on Craigslist and always use the same website link, there is a chance that Craigslist will eventually ban your site. If this happens, everytime you post ads on Craigslist with that blacklisted site the ad will be ghosted. So, use a secondary site and never direct link to your main site. It is also a good idea to use a few secondary sites. Change this url everyday to avoid any chance that Craigslist can pick up on you. Besides using your own Craigslist proxy, this is just another way that you can increase the amount of traffic, leads and hopefully money that you can generate from Craigslist.
Don't Post too Many Ads From Your IPs
Craigslist is always on the lookout for people who are spamming too many ads from one IP. You probably are interested in knowing how many ads they can post from one IP on their Craigslist proxy so as to avoid drawing any unwanted attention to their activites. The answer to this varies a lot. Overall, don't post anymore than 20 ads per day from any one IP. If you want you can try posting more than this but do so at your own risk, so it is not advised to go beyond 20 ads per day. You might have no problem with your ads beyond this, but eventually it causes problems with their IPs getting blocked. Just how many ads you do post per IP each day also depends on how many IPs you have on your proxy server. With a limited number of IPs try and post as many as you can to take advantage of your proxy server. Although you should never post multiple ads from one IP at any time. It is better to change your IP between posting ads. You need to do this to try and stop Craigslist from picking up that you are posting multiple ads.
Tips On A Craigslist Proxy
Let's take a minute before learning about a Craigslist proxy and, take some time to understand just what exactly a proxy server is. A Craigslist proxy is a system that takes data or request from information from a user and passes this onto a server. In plain English this means that while you are using a proxy server you can download files, webpages and just about everything that you normally would while using the internet. So, how should one best use a Craigslist proxy? It is very easy. Proxy server IPs come in numeric format, like 111.111.111.111.111. A Craigslist server prevents Craigslist from seeing your true IP and is really a go between while you are using Craigslist. With the IP from your Craigslist proxy, just load up any internet web browsing application such as Firefox and place the IP into its settings. Without a Craigslist proxy you are not anonymous on Craigslist and everything you do can be potentially tracked and logged. Using a Craigslist proxy makes it much easier for you to post multiple and bulk ads on Craigslist, driving more traffic to your site without worrying about leaving any trace of your activities. You should also consider learning how to best use your Craigslist server while posting ads on Craigslist.
Do Webproxies Work As Craigslist Proxy?
The most common type of proxy is a webproxy. There is a common belief held by many that a webproxy is suitable to be used as a Craigslist proxy. Sadly, this is not the case. The main problem with webproxies is their lack of anonymity. If you want to post ads on Craigslist then this is something that is very important. Web proxies reveal their true nature to anyone that inspects the IP. This makes it extremely easy for Craigslist and other sites to first inspect the true nature of an IP and if it is detected as a proxy any ads coming from the IP are banned. Just because webproxies are free and in abundant supply, they do not make a good tool for posting ads to Craigslist with. This obviously doesn't work and they quickly become frustrated. Even though free is good, webproxies and other free proxies simply do not work with Craigslist and the only real solution is to spend a few dollars on setting up and creating your own Craigslist proxy.
How Many IPs Do I Need On My Craigslist Server?
The exact number of IPs you should get with your proxy is dependant on a few factors. The first is what kind of budget do you have to spend on your proxy server and secondly what quantity of ads are you lookg to post daily. Having a few IPs quite obviously means you will be restricted in the amount of ads you can post safely. So if you are looking to posts heaps of ads make sure that you get as many IPs as you can afford. Do you just need to post a couple of ads each day on Craigslist? Or do you need to get hundreds of ads up? For those who would be happy with just one or two ads, one IP on your proxy server would be more than enough. Anymore than this would be a waste of money and resources. However, if you need more than one hundred ads per day you should look at getting anywhere from 5 to 10 IPs to begin. A commonly accepted rule is that for every 10 ads you post you will need one unique IP. So that should give you a quick rule to check to see if you have enough IPs on your Craigslist proxy to allow you to post enough ads on Craigslist.
Getting Different IPs With My Craigslist Proxy?
For those who are going to setup their own Craigslist Proxy, making sure your IPs are from different C class IP ranges is something you should pay special attention to. It isn't a topic that is discussed often, but if you post any quantity of ads on Craigslist without using different C class IP ranges you are potentially making it very easy for Craigslist to track your activities. IPs are seperated into four ranges, A B C and D. Ranges are used to keep track of and log the network and ID of the network. Every computer online has an IP which allows it to communicate with other computers online, essentially functioning as an online mailing address or phone number. Most people know that by going offline and then back online you are able to change your IP, but most of the time the new IP your ISP gives you is still within the same range. This allows companies and other people to more easily identify your activities as even after changing your IP, it has not been changed to the extent that they are unable to make any connection between your old and new IP. This could also very well be used by Craigslist in their attempts to log use of Craigslist by people posting ads. Using different C class IP ranges on your proxy server would definitely make it much harder or almost impossible for Craigslist to do this. As previously mentioned, Craigslist could potentially be able to log and block your activity online if you are using IPs that are from within the same C class IP range despite posting from different accounts (as the new IP you are assigned has not changed enough to make you look like a completely different user from somewhere else). This also applies to proxy servers and is why you should consider getting IPs from as many different C class IP ranges as possible. Generally speaking, IPs that are assigned to proxy servers are normally within the same C class range, this is something you should try to avoid. Anonymity is very important for anyone posting on Craigslist, so be sure to get a Craigslist Proxy with IPs in different C class IP ranges.
Craigslist Proxy - Difficult Posting Ads On Craigslist
Ads won't show up on Craigslist? Unsure as to what is causing the problem? There are a number of reasons why you might be having problems getting ads to go live on #keywoird#. These tips should help you to get your ads to stick. First, don't use words that you think might not be suitable for the category. If posting to the for sale section, don't post an unrelated ad such as a small business opportunity. Craigslist uses complex filters to try and stop people from posting ads in the wrong section. Each section on Craigslist is different and most likely uses a different set of filters. Second, don't use html codes outside of what Craigslist supports. Craigslist lists on their site which html codes they permit and using unsupported codes may mean your ads are blocked. Third, try to limit how many ads you post each day. If possible try and post 1 ad from 1 IP each day and no more. Posting more than this this will work, but posting an excessive amount of ads increases the chances that you will be flagged. Finally, try to not use html imags. Some section do permit the use of html images but posting images still increases the chance your ad will be blocked. Many sections do not permit images and posting ads with images will result in an immediate ban. Getting up ads on Craigslist can cause a lot of stress, but by following the above tips you should reduce the amount of trouble. You may also consider looking into a Craigslist proxy to improve the rate of your ads going live.
Should I Use Passwords On My Craigslist Proxy?
Thinking about setting up a Craigslist Proxy and curious about why or if a password is really needed to access it?. Having to constantly enter usernames and passwords when changing IPs can be tiring but should not be neglected. Since a proxy server is on the internet, it is possible that anyone could gain access to the server if they knew the IP. However, some may think that finding the IP of your proxy server is next to impossible due to the large amount of other machines and IPs on the internet. Technology today can allow someone to potentially find your proxy server with great ease by simply scanning IP ranges looking for servers that are not secured with a password. For this reason it is strongly suggested that you ALWAYS use a login and password on your proxy server. Not doing so means that if someone else gains access (very possible this will happen) they will use and abuse your server and you will be responsible for any actions they do. Instead of not using a password, look to use software the can save usernames and passwords for the IP ports on your proxy to save time. Use these instead as they will achieve what you want (speeding up the login process) but also alow you to retain the high level of security that your Craigslist Proxy requires.
If I Use a Craigslist Proxy Will My Ads Get Flagged?
Finding that you always get ads flagged on Craigslist? The first assumption many Craigslist users make is that their ad was flagged due to some proxy or IP detection spam filter on Craigslist. Most of the times this is completely untrue. Craigslist users flag ads, not Craigslist itself. Your ad is being flagged for one of several reasons: A. You’re posting what are obvious spam ads. In terms of content, posting frequency or posting locations. B. You have scum bag competitors that are selling / promoting the same thing you are. All they need to do is flag your ads or get someone else to do it. You will find that such groups of this kind exist with the sole purpose of flagging people off Craigslist. The main cause of your ad getting flagged is usually one of the above. It usually is not due to your Craigslist proxy.
Free Proxies As A Craigslist Proxy?
Are you looking into setting up your own Craigslist proxy server and considering using a free provider? You may not know, but free proxies do not work on Craigslist. The main reason they do not work lies in their lack of anonymity, which makes it easy to detect.
The most common type of proxy is a free proxy. There is a common belief held by many that a free proxy is suitable to be used as a Craigslist proxy. Sadly, this is not the case. One of the biggest problems with free proxies is that they are not anonymous. If you want to be able to post advertisements on Craigslist with as little trouble as possible then this is something you need to pay attention to. As mentioned, free proxies are not anonymous and they do not hide the fact that they are a proxy. This being the case, Craigslist simply needs to first query an IP and check for any signs that it is a proxy and if this is the case all ads are blocked. There are some people who make the mistake of assuming that all proxies are created equally and they try to use them to post on Craigslist. This obviously doesn't work and they quickly become frustrated. Even though free is good, free proxies and other similar proxy solutions simply do not work with Craigslist and the only real solution is to spend a few dollars on setting up and creating your own Craigslist proxy.
Due to their lack of anonymity, free proxy servers are not a suitable Craigslist proxy solution. The best alternative is to invest in your own proxy server which will be 100% anonymous. Doing so will save you a lot of time and energy.
Rent or Setup My Own Craigslist Proxy?
When it comes to a Craigslist proxy, there are two ways of getting one. You can rent one from someone else or just setup your own. When is it best to rent and when is it best to setup your own? If you find yourself needing a lot of IPs to post a lot of ads on Craigslist each day, you would probably be better off setting up your own proxy server. How much is a lot of ads? If you need to post anymore than 30 - 50 ads a day, definitely look at setting up your own proxy instead of renting. Anything less than this should be fine and cost about the same if you rent from someone else. Renting IPs from other people is fine, but usually they come at a much higher price compared to setting up your own. If you need to post a lot of ads on Craigslist, look at investing into your own Craigslist proxy instead of renting from someone else. You will save a lot of money in the long run.
Is It Possible For Craigslist to Track Craigslist Proxy Activity?
Do you place advertisements on on Craigslist via a Craigslist Proxy? If so, is it possible that Craigslist knows your every move? This depends entirely on how anonymous your Craigslist Proxy is. If you are using an exclusive or proxy server for Craigslist that you setup yourself and are the only one with access, it should be safe to say that Craigslist is in the dark about your activities. However, if you use a free proxy or some common use proxy shared by many people, you aren't as lucky. Free or shared proxy servers typically perform poorly when compared with elite or exclusive proxy servers. This is because shared proxies usually can be detected as a proxy server by Craigslist. The other problem is that shared proxy servers might have many people doing the same thing with the allocated proxy IPs. It isn't a great idea to share IPs with other people who might be doing the samething as you on Craigslist, right? Obviously not. If you are using an elite Craigslist Proxy then you should be safe and anonymous on Craigslist.
