Here is a wonderful drawing depicting the crash in the Hudson River...In the hands of God is where we all want to be...and they all were that day...or so it seems to me...

Very lovely artwork. My brothers coming home on a flight soon... and with all the news of planes going down lately... this sacred me a little.... I know Im a freak. Forgive me. But I always get nervous when friends and family are flying.

He, He, yep, and who says old guys can't get the job done? God, and the amazing skill of one captain and a co-captain, each with lots and lots of air miles and experience, saved all of those people! I get so irritated when people go off on older, experienced people as if they ought to be put out to pasture! The airlines recently extended the age for their pilots...I wonder if at least one of those amazing pilots would have faced forced retirement a few years back???
Next time I get on a plane, as I often do, I really don't want to be greeted by a twenty-something pilot with a "dude, great day for flying, y'ah think?" I want a Sully!!!
