Crayola has probably inspired many of todays artists. Being the number one supllier or art supplies to kids crayola has impacted many budding artists. Crayola.. they don't just make crayons anymore! Have you noticed how many more products Crayola has on the market these days? if you haven't I will be sure to tell you here!.

Crayola is first and foremost known for their Crayola crayons. Crayola was synonymous with the words crayon and Coloring pages. When I was a kid there were not many other competitors. Nothing beat the smell of an open box of new crayons. i always remember it was a treat to get the big 64 pack with the crayon sharpener in the box! I believe crayola invented a few new colors as well!

It wasn't long until Crayola cornered the market on magic Markers. Especially with the invention of the washable marker it made every mother breathe a sigh of relief!.. Little did we know that there were more marker inventions on the way!

Not to be left out of the video game department Crayola has developed a game for the Wii System. Crayola's Colorful Journey helps you tune your color skills as you go through and find the missing colors. This game is rated E for everyone. ( May I add that the price listed here is ten dollars cheaper than the price on the Crayola website?)

Crayola has also introduced scrap booking software.  The kit comes with a child friendly digital camera and camera case, (it looks sturdy in the picture) The software includes frames of the pictures, a photo edit center, a story maker and some games.  there is even a puppet show feature on the CD Rom.  Also included on the kit is a scrapbook, colored  paper, scissors,Crayola Pipsqueak markers, stickers and glue.  Believe it or not it is recommended for ages four and up!

Color Wonder is a product that Mom's can truly appreciate and kids can have fun at!.  This activity features a special ink  for the color  that only shows up on the special paper.  The Color wonder series comes in sprayers, markers and in Paints.  Of course you will have to buy the special paper for the all three activites.  Also consider that you will have to buy replacement ink cartridges for the sprayer.  All three activites seem reasonably priced.

Color explosion is a cool product that features all of the colors of the rainbow. There are two types of Color Explosion kits. The first one is a a black surface you trace a design to reveal a rainbow of colors underneath. The kit contains an 18 page notebook,12 of those pages have a character or design to trace. 6 of the pages are blank for you to do on your own. It also contains 6 markers with stencils and stickers. There are several different pictures you can choose from. Follow the directions and you will have a cool picture with wild colors. The second type of Color Explosion is Color Explosion Extreme Surprises and is on white and black paper. Drawing on this special paper with the special ink will reveal hidden colors and patterns. You can come up with a very interesting looking picture! The Crayola site boasts that this Crayola product won the Creative Child Seal of Excellence award. The Color Explosion comes with stencils and an 18 page tablet. All products are reasonably priced!

Crayola never ends with it's creative ways to use color!.
