I have a crazy family, but who doesn't right? At times I like to sit back and reflect on how I became the person I am today and when doing so I always credit my family. Though they are neurotic, hot tempered, and all around spastic, I can't help but love them and appreciate them for all of the things that they have taught me. So here are the top ten life lessons from my family:

1. When breaking a bone, walk it off.
2. Do not make your older brother mad. He WILL pile drive you into the couch and tell mom you fell.
3. Do not walk by any body of water without knowing that someone in your family will push you, shove you, or trip you into said water.
4. Be prepared for at least one relative to tell an embarrassing story about you in the presence of your new boyfriend/girlfriend.
5. Don't bleed on the carpet.
6. Yelling louder than your opponent makes you right.
7. Do not linger over food, it will be taken off of your plate and consumed by another member of the family at an alarmingly fast rate.
8. They aren't laughing with you, they are laughing at you. It's just a given.
9. Run don't walk to Disneyland rides. Your family WILL leave you behind.

Last but not least...

1. You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends nose.
