This is a homemade custard recipe in which no ready made custard mix is
used and no extra skill or effort is required. Through this cream
custard you can make variety of custard recipes at
home including fruit custard or trifle, jelly custard, etc. It is very easy and simple method of making custard at home in just 20 minutes, the only time it takes in cooling.
Ingredients:
1 cup milk
8 egg yolks
400 ml whip cream
1 cup Sugar or as required
Procedure:
1. In a large mixing bowl, beat egg yolks using
electric beater for 3-4 minutes until all the egg yolks break and mix
together to form thick liquid.
2. Now add milk to the yolks and beat for a minute.
3. Similarly add sugar and cream to the yolk mixture and beat for 5 minutes to make fluffy smooth batter.

In a sauce pan, pour the batter and cook on medium heat for at least 10
minutes. Keep stirring the batter in between and when batter gets boil
then stirring it constantly so that the batter would not stick to the
base.
5. When the custard gets the desire thickness as you want,
turn off the flame. Pour the custard in a suitable bowl and cool down
to room temperature then place the bowl in fridge to chill.
Variations:
1.
You can use this custard to make fruit custard for that you just need
to add fruits while the custard starts to thick and cook for a minute.
After that take out the fruit custard in the bowl and place it in
fridge to chill.
2. You can also make a delicious baked custard through this recipe.
