Amazon Has a Great New Create Your Own Ring Feature

Create your own ring. And now do this with Amazon. The great purchasing power of Amazon and the simplicity of packaging gives you massive savings on your creations. You can save 1/3 of the price that conventional jewelers are able to sell these great products for.

The diamonds selected by Amazon are chosen by experienced gemologists, and come with a certificate. They are obtained from conflict free zones so you can rest easy about the origin of your ring. You are able to select your stone based upon color, price, carat and clarity. You then can select the metal and style of your setting. You will be able to see the completed ring, and decide if that creation is the one that you want.

As the Amazon site explains for easy creation of your ring: "Select one or more diamond shapes. You can adjust the left and right sliders to narrow your search by price range, carat weight, cut, color, and clarity. Click the See results button at any time to see the diamonds that match your search criteria."

My only advice to those who are looking for an engagement ring or diamond creation is to stay within your means. Easy money is not flowing and jewelry is a way that you can get into some intense debt. While you have a whole life ahead of you think of the burden of too much debt and be careful. Remember, it is the thought that counts, and Amazon has a lot of choices with regard to pricing.

In addition to the "create your own ring" link, Amazon also features many jewelry creation ideas as well as jewelry creation kits. The links are directly below:

I have seen cases where the ring lasts longer than the marriage. One person I knew used to brag about how her ring was better than everyone else's, and how her fiance spent a year saving up for it. However, I see nothing wrong with maybe making your own ring by hand and wearing that. For me the ring does not even have to be a diamond, and I would rather it be somethnig pretty. I know there is all of this pressure for men to buy a diamond ring and for couples to have a large wedding, but that just puts many people in debt. At the second hand stores and pawn shops you can even find some beautiful vintage jewelry if you must have a diamond. Saving on the ring means you can have a great honeymoon instead.

I would rather have a good time on the honeymoon, but women, or at least many of them, are really wanting the security of the rock. It is a sign of sacrifice by the male. Something prehistoric maybe:)

I put less import on material goods generally but admit I love to look at jewelry. I like sweetie pie's idea of vintage, but your hub offers useful info on saving on purchase, very nice.

Diamonds would be a girl's best friend in rough economic times. And you know that pawnshops are always an option if you can trust the pawnbroker.
