Creating An Ad On Craigslist
70So, you want to create an ad on Craigslist?
STEP 1:
Go to www.craigslist.com
STEP 2:
On the top left side of the website, you will see "Post To Classifieds". Click on this link.
STEP 3:
The next page shows the type of ads that can be placed on Craigslist. Click on the link that best fits the category you are wanting to place your ad in.
STEP 4:
Choose your location.
Step 5:
A new page will come up with a box for you to type out your ad. Make sure it is professional and easy to understand. The header should be eye-catching and the body should be short and to the point. If you do not wish to be contacted via phone and do not want people to know your email address, simply click on the option that says "reply to 'insert email here'" and it will still get to you, but those that reply will not be able to see your real contact information, until you allow them to. On the bottom, make sure you click or unclick the boxes in the Permissions section to ensure you don't get spammed. Then click continue!
STEP 6:
The next page you'll see is how your ad will appear to others that view it on the site. Read over it and make sure it is correct and accurate and once you're finished click continue.
STEP 7:
Now you've come to the page that lists the Terms Of Use. Read this thoroughly if you need to and then click ACCEPT.
STEP 8:
You will then see a CAPTCHA and will need to input the words into the box to continue.
STEP 9:
Done! Wait for the published ad to show up in your email inbox and you'll be able to view it and edit as you please. You will also need to keep the email, as you will need to manually delete it once you are done with it.

Thankyou so much for writing this hub, it is just what I was looking for. Great job
Have tried craiglist. It did not last long.
Only works if you intend to sell real physical stuff I guess..

Note: It's easy to be blocked by Craigslist. Don't plan on posting alot. Last time I looked they were changing the policy on posting links.
