Creating Your Very Own Ebook Covers

When it comes to creating your very own ebook, it's the technical aspects of this task that frustrates a lot of people and it is estimated that most people give up before they actually finish their ebook project and might just upload their content to their blog or website and wasting some huge traffic potential if it was to be a free ebook or some ebook product sales or if they was to release it as their first product.

What you have to realise is this, learning the knowledge on how to do certain things online is essential and if you try hard enough, you will find the information you need.

An example of this is myself, I was struggling to get a decent ebook cover for my main ebook project at the time, but I did not know how to properly create one at the time, I did not have any software and the free software I found in my searches wasn't really the professional way I wanted it to look.

I was looking for something that would save me time and speed up the design process for my ebook cover as my content was all proof read and checked and converted to PDF format (which is the standard for ebooks!) and so all I needed was a cover.

Plus having something look professional enough to increase my sales conversion would be even better.

Something that would save me time, cut down on costs and reduce the effort to make it a more simplified process, bearing in mind that a professional graphics designer would charge a large fee.

There is a free program that your computer may already have or not, but you can download it for free, so that you can publish your own ebook in the form of a PDF which is the standard for ebooks, and this program is to be found at Openoffice.org and if your computer doesn't have it installed, then prepared to have some good disk space on your PC as it is around 140 megabytes, which is quite large, so it would take a serious commitment for someone to install it and get on with creating a good PDF report.

I found what I was looking for and it did save me money, time and effort.

Which software do you recommend for pdf conversion because usually the ones I've seen don't retain the links.

I've used Open Office as well but the application is huge so I don't like running it on my computer.
