Creationism Or Evolution?
44This is a question that people have been asking themselves for many years now. Both of them are a type of Intelligent Design. This means that they believe that there was a purpose and an intelligent cause to how the world began. Whether it be based upon God or upon science they both have a definite purpose to why the world began.
I was home schooled all my life and never attended a public school and was never able to experience what everyday children study when it comes to answering this question. I was taught that Creationism - the idea the God created the world out of nothing - was the truth. However, I was taught about Evolution and what it meant.
After dozens of years of learning about each process and studying on the side on my own I was able to answer the question myself. At first both seem unfathomable - but it seems more likely that an intelligent being - God - created the world and everything in it. This seems more likely then the world beginning from slime or some random big bang.
I admit that I am a Christian and yes all of my beliefs are based upon faith and the Bible. For some people this can be an unsubstantial basis and they believe that science is the only way to prove things. Maybe its easy for me to rely on faith more because I never cared for science or maybe I just know deep inside that God has this grand design for us that we can’t even begin to fathom.
Let’s admit it and say that as humans we don’t know everything and we can’t even begin to try. There are many things beyond this that we can’t figure out. We still have yet to find a substantial cure to cancer so why do we have to try to prove how the world began?

what possibilities would exist if creation and evolution were one in the same. Is the only answer that these two contradict each other?
