Credit repair leads are absolutely essential if you are considering starting your own credit repair business or are trying to generate more cliental for your credit repair company. A good credit repair lead will ensure that you have the best possible chance of gaining a client.

Now, there are a lot of credit card lead companies out there who will sell you leads for cheap. However, there are some things you should know before buying credit leads.

Test a Credit Lead before Buying Bulk

Before you go out and actually purchase any sort of credit repay leads, you need to ascertain their quality first. Bad quality credit leads will waste both your time and money – something that’s important in this industry. So to avoid running around in circles from a list of bad leads, it’s best to test out the leads.

If the leads are good, you should expect about 20% of those 100 leads (20 leads) should convert into an actual sale. If you are getting low sales of less than 10 percent, the leads are low quality. These days, things like debt consolidation loan leads and credit crunch leads convert really high because these are services that are in huge demand right now.


Find out How Leads are Generated

It’s important that you find out the method the lead generation company is using to collect the leads. Many credit repair leads are collected through website forms and other forms of advertising. Some forms of lead generation are more efficient than others.

Make sure the Leads Have All the Details

It’s essential when looking at credit card leads or credit repair leads that the leads you purchase have as much contact information as possible. This means things like street addresses, names, phones numbers, email, etc. The more information you have about a lead, the more you can customize your sales pitch to that lead’s individual needs. It goes without saying that this can bring your conversion rate through the roof.

If you are unable to convert a credit repair lead to a sale. That lead may become a sale down the road – it’s not unheard of for it to take 5 or more follow up attempt to convert a lead to a sale.
