Asia Cup 2008

The 2008 Asia cup took place in Pakistan in June 2008.

The six teams which took part in the tournament were Sri Lanka,

India,Pakistan,Bangaladesh,Hong Kong and UAE.

Group A consists of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the UAE

Group B consists of India, Hong Kong and Pakistan.

The two groups will first have a separate round-robin competition.

The top 2 from each group will go on to the Super Fours.

There will be a round-robin competition again between the

Super Four, the first two from which will advance to the final.

Sri Lanka and India were selected to the Final.

India won the toss and bowl first.
