75Cricket and poor service
Cricket Wireless
I've just about gone crazy with Cricket service. Their product falls apart, calls drop, and the customer service is non-existant.
Two months ago, my cell phone quit charging. When I took it the store, they glanced at the phone and determined it was the charging port. There recommendation was I pay the insurance fee and get a new phone. So I pay the $50 and get a new phone. Not necessarily happy about the $50 but I have a phone again.
A few days ago, my phone quit charging. Now, I'm beyond frustrated. I just paid $50 for a new phone. The same issue is occuring. What is wrong with this picture? Obviously, I high tail it to the store. Angrily I speak to the clerk about the history with this issue. What does she suggest? Pay another $50 for a new phone. I let her know, I'm not spending another dime on this phone. She manages to charge my phone at the store. She tells me she thinks the issue is fixed. So now I believe I over reacted.
Yesterday, my phone quit charging. You can't even imagine how angry I was then. I run to the store again. It was no surprise, when they suggested I pay another $50. Those money hungry cricket chirppers. Of course I let her know the same thing, that not another penny will be spent on the issue. She needed to figure out how to make the situation right. This time the clerk recommends as well a different charger because the phone had two ports. However, there were none in the store. I finally locate a store that has one. I have that clerk test the charger with my phone. Sure enough looked like it was working. I left it on the charger to get fully charged. A few hours pass, and I look at the phone. To my disappointment it hadn't charged a bit. Oh my goodness! This is getting very irritating. So now I have spent another $20 on a phone charger that doesn't work either. What am I to do?
Those of you that are thinking about going to Cricket service, you need to give it a second thought. This is not my first incident that I've had with Cricket. I'm about to make it my last though.

I had a problem like that. My phone had been turning off on me and one day it doesn't want to turn on anymore. So, i take the phone to the cricket store to see what they could do. The dude looks at the phone and has the nerve to tell me that if i charge the phone while its on, not to do so anymore and that it was the battery Like hello? my sis had the same phone and i had tried her battery on my phone to see if that was the case. If it was i would've just went for a battery. That pissed me off. So he tries the battery from his phone because he has the same phone and surprise, surprise, it doesn't turn on. He goes oh, its the phone. I pay insurance every month, its useless. The dude get a new phone, i don't get anything else with it. Not a new charger, not a new battery and not even a new back side. he puts the back side from my old phone and the dude put the battery from his phone into the new phone. And i should know, i know how my battery looks like. And they still charge me 50 bucks. I left pissed, i should've said something, but i didn't. I rather go with cingular. Their service maybe more but they have great coverage for phones and such. With cricket, you'll be spending just as much as the other guys with this load of crap but at least you'll get more coverage and insurance coverage.
