Crocheted Slippers

Crocheted slippers are the most comfortable slippers anywhere! They form to your feet better than any other kind of slippers which you can buy. They don't feel bulky and when wearing them it's almost as if you're wearing socks…only the slippers keep your feet warm!

Most store-bought slippers even though they are warm, feel big, bulky and even awkward…especially those flip-flops; and I would rather not wear them because they feel so much like wearing shoes. I don't know about you, but I hate wearing shoes inside, (except my platforms which I wear in the kitchen to help me reach better.) Other than that, shoes are meant to be worn outside, in my opinion.

So I like to crochet my own. They don't feel like shoes at all! They never get in the way when curling up on the couch, or when sitting cross-legged on the floor when reading or playing with young children. They are so comfortable you can even wear them in bed at night!

Not only are they comfortable they are also easy to wash, and cheap to make. For the price of one store-bought pair of slippers you can buy yarn and crochet slippers for your whole family, thus saving you tons of money. Or make several pairs for yourself; this way when one pair gets dirty, you simply throw them in the laundry and bring out a clean pair!

Because they are so cheap and easy to make, you can make a pair for all your outfits…and always walk around in matching style. One pair can easily be crocheted in one evening.

Slippers are also a great way to learn how to crochet, or when teaching young children how to crochet. They can easily be completed before the new crocheter looses interest in the project and gives up.

Crocheted slippers also make great gifts for everyone on your list, and they are sure to please every recipient!

The only downside of crocheted slippers is that they tend to be slippery, so if you have a lot of hardwood floors you will have to watch your step until you get used to wearing them.
