Every few months I get the urge to go on a road trip. Usually they turn out to be trips that take a few hours at most to reach a destination, and the whole trip may not be longer than a day or two. But every so often I get to take a mega road trip across the country - I've been back and forth from coast to coast several times and always enjoy the ride!

I haven't visited all 50 states yet, but have probably seen at least half of them in my travels. There really is a great feeling of spending time in a new place, and knowing that you may never visit that same location ever again!
