FOOD ON A CRUISE

Pictures and videos of food that you can expect on a cruise ship menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts. One thing you don't have to worry about on a cruise is going hungry, however you may worry more about your waistline.

There is no doubt that you will find world-class chefs onboard all cruise ships creating exceptional dishes with the finest ingredients.

Casual Dining - Most cruise ships have buffet type meals where you can go and sit when and where you want. If you are hungry and want to be completely full, the buffet is for you.

Main Dining - Most cruise ships have options of fine dining where the food is prepared and presented where the looks is as good as the taste. The draw back is if you are a big eater, the portion may not meet your appetite.

Children's Food - Most cruise ships have children's menus with favorites including spaghetti and meatballs, hotdogs, hamburger, fries and pizza.

24 hour food service - most cruise ships you can get 24 hour food such as pizza.

We found a site on the Internet that has actual menu's from various cruise ships for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Go to http://www.cruiseclues.com/menus.htm#cruisemenus

I must warn you that going any further on this site should be done on a full stomach. The pictures and videos of the food below may be too much for some people "such as myself".

Mouthwatering. I have found that eating three meals a day helps one enjoy the great food. Also at dinner in the main dining room I have never had a problem asking for a second appetiser salad or main menu item if I was still hungry (which was rare). Don't forget the after dinner liquor!
