Cuddalore is one of the tourist spot situated near Chennai and Pondicherry. Cuddalore can be said as “Land of Sea”. Cuddalore beach is the second largest beach in Asia (Silver Beach).

 Cuddalore is about 180 KM distance from Chennai and 25 KM from Pondicherry.

And Cuddalore is well known for two reasons. One, its Industrial Area and then agriculture, is famous for “Jack Fruit” which largely grown in panruti which is again 10 to 15 Km from Chennai.

Cuddalore is a district head which has various small panchayat ‘s.

Cuddalore is also badly affected by the Tsunnami that vanished most souther tamilnadu on 26^th dec 2004. With the help of the current government this place is slowly recovering.

Education is above average in cuddalore. There were many primary schools available in and around cuddalore. And in that “St. Josephs Hr. Sec School “ and “St. Mary’s Girls School (matriculation) still remains on top.

When we talk about engineering college,” Krishnasamy College of Engineering and Technology, Cuddalore” stands to be reasonable good.

Developments:

The development process is very slow in cuddalore. We don’t know who to be blamed. A simple example is cuddalore is still not having a rail means of transport.  People in cuddalore are still waiting for rail transport to begin. And works are under way.

Religious Place:

Thiruvanthipuram Lord Srinivasa remains to be more powerfull for many pupils. How ever there exists many temples around cuddalore.
