Puppies need to be trained as to what areas are allowed and what areas are off limits.Buy him chewable toys.Make it slightly difficult for your dog to get his treat out of his chew toy so that he stays engaged in the effort.Make sure you don't leave things lying around on the floor so that your dog doesn't chew them up.

Dog on Dog Aggression - This always happens when there's a new jack in town. Your original dog is jealous of the "newcomer". So here's what to do: When you introduce your new dog to your dog, make sure you make it a point to lavish more attention on your original dog so that he doesn't feel left out.

This is no different than sibling rivalry.Make sure you pay extra attention to your first dog so that he doesn't see the new dog as a threat. In order for your dog not to feel threatened, you have to go to the extreme and pay more attention to him than the newer dog.

3) Dog Barking - Dog barking, especially Beagles, bark because for some it's inbred. Beagles and terriers tend to bark a lot by nature.Give your dog lots of exercise.Go to a dog run and let your dog play and wrestle with the other dogs.Tie their leash to your bicycle bar handle and then make them run at your pace!

Barking is a sign of boredom.Beagles tend to bark for no reason at all other than to hear themselves. They love hearing themselves. Or, as I mentioned, they have pent up tension. Giving them lots of exercise will cure this dog behavior problem.

Dog Urination on Carpet - If you don't want your dog peeing on your rug, you've got to crate train him immediately.Nuff said.As soon as you get home with your dog, crate him.The proper sized crate is important.Dog give your dog room in his crate to poop and pee in it. The idea is, dogs don't poop where they sleep or eat.Keep your dog in one area of the house - his crate.

The second most important thing about crating your dog is that you have to feed him on a regular schedule.Restrict his food intake. You must feed your dog on a strict and regular schedule. The advantage of this will be that dogs pee and poop soon after eating.

You can then time him so that you'll know when exactly you need to take him out. After you have conditioned him to eat and poop at a regular time, you will be able to let him out of his crate and know that he will not pee or poop on your carpet.
