For maintaining their celibacy, they used to practice various things like yoga poses, breathing exercises & some hat yoga practices also. Apart from exercises they used to eat balanced & nutritional diet which is known as the Satvic diet. These practices & diet enhance their capacity to produce more energy. To main celibacy, the one of the best yoga posture is Sitting Posture or Padangusthasana.
How to perform Sitting pose or Padangusthasana
In this pose the practitioner have to sit on the toe in a way that the heel of his left foot is placed on the seminal nerve which is present at in between the anus & the generative organ. Now the practitioner will place his right foot on the thigh of his left foot in the way that the whole of his body weight is balanced on the forefinger of his left foot specially on left toe. Now the practitioner will put his right hand on the right knee & his left hand on the right ankle in the Gyan Mudra pose. The breathing of practitioner during this process should be normal. Now practitioner can repeat the same with other foot.

With practice of this yoga pose, owing to pressure of the heel on the seminal nerve the falling tendency of semen is stopped. The semen sublimates through the practice of this yoga pose & changes into vital energy. This yoga pose is also helpful to maintain balanced development of body and self control. The foot nerves also become elastic and strong. It helps to cure impotence also. Young people should practice this yoga pose regularly to keep good reproductive health.
