It's My Tinnitus

I have a ringing in my ears. And when I say ringing, I mean RINGING. I have it as I write this. This ringing can get so loud I half expect people near me ask me to turn it down. After being driven half crazy by it, I found out what I have is called, ‘tinnitus’.

For some people it’s not a ringing but a buzzing or even a ‘whooshing’ sound. Any of those are not just annoying but if it’s steady and REALLY LOUD, it’s driven some sufferers to suicide. I haven’t reached that point --- yet --- but it is annoying.

Thing is it’s not a steady ringing but comes on me every so often, like when I’m trying to fall asleep and it’s so loud I wonder if I am able to doze off, will I be able to hear the alarm?

From what I’ve read, everyone who has tinnitus has some hearing loss, although I can hear perfectly well. I’m just being driven crazy by the ringing.

Doctors say that if you’re subjected to high volume levels of sound over a period of time, it damages those little hair cells in the inner ear that can result in minor hearing loss and the onset of tinnitus. People like rock musicians. I read where many wear ear plugs onstage, which is smart as they stand in front of those massive speakers night after night, year after year. If they didn’t wear earplugs they'd be totally deaf in no time.

With me it might have been caused by travel as I fly quite a bit and airplanes can be noisy, even in a pressurized cabin. On many occasions I’ve had to walk across tarmacs where jets were taxiing with their accompanying high pitch whine that felt like spikes were being driven into my ears.

So along with hearing damage comes tinnitus. Conversely, not everyone who has hearing damage has tinnitus.

In cases like mine, where the ringing comes and goes, tinnitus can be traced to lifestyle. It is well known that certain foods have high concentrations of chemicals that exacerbate tinnitus. By making small changes in diet you can reduce the intensity of the ringing. With continuous application eventually the ringing disappears altogether.

There's a program that achieves this in a safe and NATURAL way. If you’re being driven nuts by tinnitus, do yourself a favor and check out Tinnitus Miracle.
