the Middle Ages, there was a drink that was created by Hippocrates that became a staple at many wedding parties. It contains several herbs such as coriander, cardamom, clove, ginger, and cinnamon. This drink is called "Hippocras". This drink was eventually banned because it stimulated the libido too much. Now you can create and drink this drink yourself to help cure a low sex drive.
Hippocras
- 3/4 Gallon White or Red Wine or White or Red non-alcoholic juice
- 1 Cup Honey
- 2 Tablespoons cinnamon
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Grated Ginger
- 1 Tablespoon Nutmeg
- 1 Tablespoon Mace
- 1 Tablespoon Cloves
- 1 Tablespoon Cardamom
- 1 Tablespoon Coriander
- 1 Tablespoon Cayenne
Mix all spices together and set aside. Heat the wine or juice to just below boiling. Add spices to the wine and allow to cool. Pour the mix into air tight glass containers and set it in a cool dark place for one week. Strain the wine and return to air tight containers. Let this concoction rest for about one month before drinking. It will keep unopened for years, about four days after opening.
