My name is Julia Hanf and, while I realized my husband was a diabetic, I never imagined he would go into diabetic shock on our wedding night. That evening I went to war against diabetes and have learned many things about how he, and you, can beat this disease. There is a cure for type 2 diabetes and I can show you how to beat it.

Type 2 diabetics can counteract the progression of diabetes by improving insulin sensitivity and by enhancing glucose metabolism. Diabetics can stop the complications that accompany diabetes. The cure for type 2 diabetes is found through a combination of the following:

Diet – Make sure that your carbohydrates come from whole grains, dark green and brightly colored vegetables. Read the label - make sure that you consume poly and mono unsaturated fats, the more mono-unsaturated, the better.

Limit your consumption of saturated fats, animal products such as whole milk, butter, cream, ice cream, cheese, fatty meats and oils. Saturated fats will clog your arteries. And try to limit your consumption of Trans fats – they are not good for you. Trans fats are found in fried food, commercially baked goods, processed foods and margarine.

Exercise – People who have a tendency to develop type 2 diabetes are typically overweight. Therefore, 30 minutes a day of light to moderate exercise – combined with healthy diet is the first step in concurring diabetes.

Nutritional Supplements – Many nutrients have been shown to increase insulin sensitivity, protect vulnerable cell membranes, and reduce the damaging effects of elevated glucose. Ideally, a combination of improved diet, exercise, and nutritional supplements can reverse mild to moderate hyperglycemia before stronger drugs are needed and permanent damage is done and cure type 2 diabetes.
