Free WordPress Wedding Theme
75There are a fair number of WordPress wedding themes out there, but it is difficult to personalize them to exactly suit your needs. Here, I describe how you can easily customize your wedding WordPress blog with a variety of image and color options. You can also use your own wedding photographs, or mix and match them with the existing graphics in the wedding theme below.
Shiba WordPress Theme
To enable the range of theme customizations described in this article, first download and install the Shiba WordPress Theme.
- Download the Shiba WordPress Theme onto your local computer.
- Log into your blog, and go to your WordPress blog dashboard.
- Click on the Appearance menu on the left of your Dashboard screen and choose the Add New Themes option.
- Click on Upload at the top of your Install Themes screen and choose the shiba.zip file that you just downloaded. Then click on the Install Now button. This will install the Shiba WordPress Theme onto your blog.
- Once the theme is installed you will be given the option to Activate it or to Return to the themes menu. You can activate or delete a theme anytime you want by going to the Appearance >> Themes menu on your WordPress dashboard.

To create your wedding theme, the first thing to do is to find some compelling wedding graphics or use your own beautiful wedding photographs.
To help get you started, I have included a variety of images that you can use for your wedding themed blog. Just click on the images to view them in full size. Then right click on the pop-up window to save the image onto your computer.
These images are properly sized to fit the Shiba WordPress Theme, so you will not need to do any image cropping or resizing to use them in your blog. If you are looking for a wider range of computer generated images, visit Virtual Image 3D or generate your own using free Daz models.
Once you have collected all the wedding images that you want to use, go back to your WordPress blog dashboard.

To do this, make sure you have the Shiba WordPress Theme activated.
- Go to Appearance >> Custom Images in your WordPress dashboard.
- There, you will be given the option to upload the header, footer, and sidebar images that you just obtained above. Pick the ones that you like best, or combine them with your own wedding photographs.
- Refresh your blog page and it should be updated with your new wedding images!
- You can come back to the Appearance >> Custom Images menu at any time to tweak or change the images on your wedding blog.
Customize the Colors on your Wedding Blog
The wedding images provided here can go well with a light or dark background. To personalize the colors of your blog -
- Go to the Appearance >> Custom Colors menu on your WordPress dashboard.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and you will see five buttons on the bottom right titled Body Text, Header, Sub-header, Link Text, and Background. You can personalize the colors on your blog to anything you want by choosing colors for each of these color categories. To pick a color, just click on the category of your choice.
- Next, click on the color of your choice on the color wheel to the left. Clicking on the outer, round part of the wheel will select the general color group. Clicking on the square region in the center of the color wheel will select the specific color you want to use. When you do this, the text region above will change to reflect your new color selection. Try it out. You can test a variety of color choices quickly and easily.
- Once you are happy with your chosen colors, click on the Save Changes button below. This will save your color choices and send them to your blog.
- Refresh your blog page and you should see your new color scheme.
Saving Your WordPress Wedding Theme
Once you are happy with your color and image choices, you can save your entire wedding theme.
- Go to Appearance >> Save/Restore on your WordPress dashboard.
- Enter the name of your theme in the input box provided at the top.
- Click on the Save Current Theme button right below the input box. This will save your theme, and create a new theme entry in the Previously Saved Themes list below.
- You can easily restore previously saved themes by going to the theme that you want, and clicking on the Activate Theme button.
There is much more you can do with the Shiba WordPress Theme including add Google AdSense advertisements, add a privacy policy link, add a variety of widgets, and use child themes. None of these are necessary, but they offer you the flexibility to extend and customize your blog later on if you desire.

It's quite a dark day, my man, when CG honeys are getting married before me! What the heck? LOL Very cool, bro. I just thought of a really cool idea:
Set up this theme based around a RSVP site where potential guess can come and well, RSVP their attendance! Has this already been done? I really hope not. Is it too late for a patent? Any how, you're me witness, whether you like it or not! Thanks again, Shibashake!
