12/21/2012 = DOOMSDAY

By now I'm sure everyone's heard of December 21, 2012 the last day on the Mayan calendar (the most accurate calendar in the world). Why would a calendar that has been so precise and accurate suddenly end on that particular day?

Some people say it is the beginning of a new reality; a new phase of humanity. Others dismiss it saying nothing will happen. While still others believe there's a window of eight years (between 2007 and 2015) and at any time during those years the “CHANGE” will occur.

But what exactly will happen? What does it all mean? Is the world that we know, about to be destroyed? Is the earth's axis going to shift enough so that to cause catastrophic disasters – like earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes, drastic climate changes, sleet & hail in the summer months, etc.? Will the North Pole become the South Pole and visa versa?

I have my own opinions on this topic, but I would like to hear what other people are thinking. So PLEASE, submit your views in the comment section. After hearing various views on this, I will post my own.
