DEMON`S # 2

Back in the late 80`s I used to manage a Hotel on the west coast of Ireland. One of my employees was a young beautiful girl (let's call her Meg) who was about 16. She had a bubbly personality and was a pleasure to be around. In the ways of the world she would have been described as an innocent sweet soul. I knew her parents and liked them.

Well one day a guy (call him Tom) came to town to work as a painter. Tom frequented the hotel bar and befriended Meg. I knew Tom and he had a very sarcastic and mean disposition about him. I had shared a drink with him one night and he had tried to bend my middle finger backwards and nearly broke it, the more he drank the meaner he became.

Well after a while Meg and Tom began to hang around together. Meg still came into work and was her normal bubbly self. Then one morning she came in with Tom and I knew they had slept together. Her bubbly personality was gone and she had become sarcastic, it was like she had taken on Tom's personality.

At the time I just figured she was just feeling guilty and defensive. But over the next few weeks she became cold and more sarcastic it was like meeting the bad twin sister. It was as if she had done a 180. In short it was like talking to Tom, did I know for sure that she had a demon, No I did not, shortly after that Tom left to work in another village and Meg went back to School and I never saw either of them again.

What amazed me about the whole experience was how fast her personality changed. At the time I was a new Christian and did not understand the demonic realm. Then I too left and went to London England (see hub...leaving Ireland) as I believed that was where God was leading me to go. While there I spent about 2 years with a group called YWAM (youth with a mission). During that time I Hung out with one of their street teams and gained a lot of hands on experience in the area of the supernatural.

I learned that we live in a world of good and evil. Good being God and his Angels and they live in heaven. And evil Being Satan who has his kingdom here on earth with fallen Angels called Demons who do his bidding. So from that I realized that if I belonged to God and his kingdom I was light. Satan's kingdom represented darkness then I was light in darkness. In other words I was in a battle Zone so to speak and was a threat to Satan. Before I became a Christian I was of no interest to Satan and so he left me alone. But as soon as I became a Christian I was an enemy.

Ok, this is what I truly believe and not because YWAM or some church taught me. They just taught me to pray and ask God to confirm everything and to keep going back to him as the source of all truth. (Actually I had always been doing that, they just confirmed it). Sort of like if someone tells you some news about someone else, doesn't it make sense to go to that person and ask them if it's true or not. In the same way as you read this ask God if it is true...hey I could just be a nut spinning a Good yarn!

The main purpose of a Demon is to control and dominate the persons mind. If you can control a mind you have the person. I had a close relative who once experimented with séances and Ouija board, before pursuing and participating in the fore mentioned they were pretty normal so to speak. Afterwards and even during I began to notice subtle changes and over a period of time Depression and suicidal tenancies...In general their life began a steady decline and if I even mentioned the name Jesus they became very aggressive towards me. We could talk to each other as long as I did not mention the name Jesus.

I once worked in a special Ed classroom and we had a student who was MPD. One day while talking with the head teacher of the class who was a christen .I asked her permission to if I could demonstrate something to her with regards to the MPD student who was alone with us. She agreed. The student was about 25 ft away with her back to us.

I instructed the teacher to turn her back to the student and whisper the words "Look at me" and then turn silently and watch the student. She did this and right away the student turned her head and stared eyes straight at the teacher like she was trying to pierce the teacher. There was no way she could have heard us.

Am I saying all people with MPD have Demons? No they do not; there are nuts out there that think every sickness is a demon issue. How did this student become demon possed I don't know? All I know is what the Holy Spirit shows me and I pray the way he leads me.

I did not pray for that student that day as I did not feel led; there is a time and a place.

Another time some people were praying for a sick depressed woman at a church and the Holy Spirit showed me that a voodoo curse had been placed on this women. I asked the women if anyone in her family had practiced Voodoo and she replied that her grand mother did and had never liked the man she had married or her. We prayed as led by the spirit and for the first time in years the women experienced true release and over time and prayer true freedom.

Every time I have prayed with anyone on this issue, as soon as I mention the name of Jesus things begin to happen. If I mention any other name of any other religion nothing.

There is so much power in that name and if you do not know him ask him to reveal himself in a personal way to you to prove that he exists. I heard bible thumpers for years quoting scriptures and condemning people and it turned me of religious people and then one day on my own Jesus revealed himself to me personally and as a result I have and still have a personal daily testimony, in other words a real relationship with a loving God, not a cold religious one. But that's another story!
